It’s kind of cool that, immediately after taking this bad of a beating, Red Team basically spends a good chunk of the game *trying* to get Atriox to fight them again. Yet Atriox is smart enough to not fight the Spartans on their terms, so he never engages them again in the game. Captures both the tenacity of the Spartans and the intelligence of Atriox.

That break in his collar bone sent a shiver down my spine. 😅

Every time I play this game, I always cry during this scene. This moment is probably one of the most beautiful in the game, if not the most beautiful. They're promising to leave together, and when knowing what happens to Rachel, it just makes this even sadder. They deserved to escape together.

The Covenant branded the Spartans, in particular 117, as Demons. Though Atriox remark is pretty legitament when you're told who he is. Humanity nearly lost the war against the Covenant, but Atriox thrived despite everything.

What no one realizes about this scene is that Atriox saying “as I suspected…nothing but a man,” likely signifies that the banished and the covenant aren’t sure if Spartans are even human.

As “cool” as this scene looks. These Spartan 2 aren’t acting like 2’s. When Alice gets grabbed. It should’ve turned immediately into a fight, not just look at atriox and make choking noises. 343 tries to make the Spartans act human, but 2’s are anything but human. And when atriox grabs Douglas, him bending down instead of doing literally anything else, would’ve never happened. Red team, let alone any other Spartan 2’s would’ve kick atriox’s ass

Even Chief’s luck couldn’t save him from a direct fight against Atriox and by his pure luck Atriox was killed off screen so Chief was lucky enough to wake up not facing Atriox

To this day it’s still the dumbest thing. 3 Spartans losing to an unshielded Brute standing in the middle of a room. Made zero sense

The second Atriox grabbed my boys shoulder and crushed it was shocking to me, and still is to this day. That's one big hairy son of a bitch! Really puts fear into how horrific the brutes truly are.

What I love about this scene is that we know that Brutes aren't the biggest threat that spartans face. They can be dangerous but Spartans are often up to the task. Look at Cal-141's fight with that brute in halo legends, she beats the crap out of that brute single handedly. (Ultimately the brute killed her but that was circumstantial) This means that Atriox is just on a whole other level in terms of skill, strength and intelligence. He took on three Spartan II's and came out with barely a scratch. Hell, he beat the crap out of the master chief and dragged him through a hangar to then throw him off the infinity. Atriox is one of the few things 343i did right in my opinion. It's just a shame how dirty they did him in Halo Infinite.
