That tree climbing part is something I see parkourers do sometimes whether it's a tree branch, or a metal bar. Interesting.

It just a demonstration. Plus, this video looks old. I think that Sensei create this video for his disciples only, not for publication in KZfaq. So i doubt that he made it just to gain "like" and subscribers in KZfaq. But of course, these techniques look funny for today audience. Because he shows it with some kind of traditional / old method that maybe was invented in the time of Sengoku Jidai era. An era where the guards never played Battlefield 5, never understand infiltration tactics, never watch Jet Li nor Jackie Chen spectacular kungfu in Hongkong kungfu movies, and even never got trained on how to face a ninja in action. But it might be different, if we translate his method of thinking into modern tactics, and use it as the basis of modern CQB tactics. Maybe it won't be better than what we already have today. Because we have already have something that better, and battle proven. But in the 20th century, where the concept of Special Force were still new, this method can actually be translated into a modern tactics that then similar to our current special force tactic.

Is this a parody? Because it looks like a parody but also like it might be for real. You know that technique doesn’t work here literally just let go once you grabbed it. It’s ridiculous.

And yet, they are actual historical people who were engaged in some of the most dangerous conflicts against Samurai in feudal Japan. You mma fan boys just don't get it, do you? Ninjutsu was not created as a fight sport, it was intended for espionage and sabotage against Japanese warlords. Yes, they had empty hand fighting as well, but not unlike a Special Forces soldier in present day, their weapons were there main tools, and they only went hands on when shit went south. The idea was to infiltrate, do the dirty deed, then exfiltrate...all without being detected...stealthily. They didn't engage Samurai in combat unless they had no choice, or if whoever hired them instructed them to assassinate someone of importance in the castle. Ah, hell! Why am I even bothering to explain? Maybe if you laid off the YT videos, and picked up a history book, you may actually learn something new that will free your closed mind. Oh! And just so you know, MANY Special Operators that I have known in my time in service have studied traditional martial arts, including ninjutsu.

@@immortalallmind the scholarship on historic ninja is rather mixed and ranged from them existing as purely espionage units in Japanese armies to being a mythological amalgam of various kinds of espionage, saboteur, and assignation agents that were used be the samurai. Their were groups that fought against samurai but they were never called ninja, they were just villages like Iga and Koga that conducted guerrilla warfare against imperial forces due to them having a somewhat independent government and trained militia forces. Ninjitsu may have never existed as an art, there were a variety of groups that conducted espionage, assassinations, asymmetric warfare and the like as specialists in the various armies that fought in Japan but they were a variety of different jobs and weren’t referred to as one group. That said, the hand to hand element was just traditional taijutsu there isn’t any evidence of a ninja specific empty hand or weapon arts. I’ve got nothing against traditional martial arts. I practice them myself, karate, iaido, hapkido, and kendo specifically. That said modern ninjutsu has nothing to do with what was done historically by the espionage agents in Japanese history. I would recommend you read more current scholarship on this topic.

@@AlgernirNice copy and paste from Wikipedia...GOOD ONE!😂 For someone who completely mocked Ninjutsu and dismissed it as a joke, you sure are pretending to know an awful lot about the subject. How old are you? I have been practicing martial arts(including Ninjutsu)for almost 4 decades now, since I was a teenager, and have forgotten more than you think you know, or that ridiculous A.I. or Wiki page you just stole from. Please don't embarrass yourself anymore. I don't argue with people, so we're done here. Have a nice life...no harm, no foul.

@@immortalallmind I’m not claiming to be an expert I’m just responding to your comment that I am ignoring the value of traditional martial arts, I’m saying that I practice them myself so I do see value in them. Modern Ninjutsu is not a joke, I said I find bad ninjutsu like what is shown here, entertaining. The information I have is largely from Ninja Unmasking the Myth by Stephan Turnbull. He goes through a lot of how the myth of the ninja developed and spread during the Edo period. I’m not trying to argue with you so if you don’t want to respond that’s fine. I would recommend you read on some of the modern scholarship on ninja since the idea of them we have is almost entirely wrong and that includes the one built by so called “ninjutsu” schools.

How dare you compare him to the master of the Black Dragon Fighting Style! Master Kim has mastered ninjitsu on a level this man couldn’t dream of! I saw master Kim once use hidden ninja warrior death tiger construction to build an intercontinental ballistic missile and launch it at the flying saucer hovering over farmer Dan’s backyard, defending this great nation! Sure, the deep state will tell you it was a tourist hot air balloon but that’s just because they are trying to bury Master Kim’s secrets! In the words of the grandmaster トイレはどこですか!
