Loving the comparison to west b and east dulwich…I agree. And yes…we are known in Nottingham and the midlands to stop for a “good morning” weather and/buses chat 😂. Awww old bear! Can’t lie…I’ve kept my books and try to read them to my little one (more for me of course) I also think I still have the series on video!! But no video player…so not helpful really. Haha. I used to love old bear! I had a video🐻I volunteer in a charity shop and our books are only 50p each,also that disney mug was way too expensive 😮

@@flatteringlyfashionable8166 it’s so much smaller so I’ve found myself using it loads more out and about as it’s not as obvious/easier to hold but still be pushing the pram etc. but my old camera was great too - it was the Sony Alpha A600 but phones are so good these days too! X

If you come back to Cleethorpes there is a sandpit and children’s paddling pool closer to Haven. As you drive towards the north beach there are large car parks opposite the Premier Inn. That has more things for children, including a boating lake and miniature railway, plus the world’s smallest pub, and the beach is a lot nicer.

Such great advice! I’m due next week with my second boy and my eldest son will be 3 in May. Feeling a little anxious at how he’ll cope as he’s such a mummy’s boy, but have been prepping him talking about it and will definitely follow what you said too. Congratulations on your new job! We are in exactly the same position as you with childcare and I work evenings and weekends to help top up the pennies. We got into a routine much quicker than I thought and it feels nice to be doing something different with my brain apart from mum life 😊 I'm sure you will do absolutely brilliantly and it will be great for your family ❤

I remember coming back home to my 22 month old son and I cried because he seemed so big and tall and didn't feel like my baby anymore. Hormones obviously played a big part but still...like you say, nothing can prepare you xx

🥲I still get teary when I think about walking into the house after having my second and kneeling down to my two year old throwing her arms around my neck. I’d been away for less than 48 hours and she seemed completely grown up, so big and I just cried rolding her because I couldn't believe how much it seemed like she had changed. 😭 It was so special though then bringing her out to the car and she knew exactly who the baby was when she saw him and loved him immediately. She’s the best big sister. I’m so glad you guys had such a good transition too!

Gosh I’ve literally teared up reading this 😭😭 why does nobody prepare you for it??? It is literally like they’re a whole new person. It honestly felt like a bigger adjustment than having the newborn haha, seeing them become big brothers/sisters is the most wonderful feeling but also… where did our babies go 🥺🥺 Thank you so much for watching & taking the time to share your experience.. My girls are 2.5years apart also and I known what you mean about your 1st seeming so big. I thought my 1st was so tiny tiny and then I brought home my baby and I couldn’t believe how big she looked from when we left her with her grandparents for two days. It was crazy!
