guys this is a Bob Dylan song and Jimmy did the first cover like this. He always said that he was loose but brought a different sound. They are following his version. People can always improve, Stevie Ray Vaughn played Little Wing tighter and better but Jimi was the first. He was one of the pioneers of blues rock along with clapton and others. Listen to Randy California's version.

Such a privilege to all of us here on the Earth to have this chance to see and listen Jeff! No doubt , he belongs to the Universe and this is the reason he left our planet so early ! Fly on your guitar , fly Jeff! And smile! Thank you for sharing your talent with Earth's population!

As one who came of age in the 70s and has seen most of the greatest rock & roll bands of all time, my one great regret is that I hever saw Jeff Healey play. The man just oozed musical talent and musical genius. If you had to pick a single guitar player who stands above all the others, for me it's Jeff Healey.

I have always liked he song "All Along the Watch Tower!" However, hearing Jeff Healey play this is utterly amazing! He was so good with the guitar! I am amazed that he started playing the guitar when he was three years old!! Wow! Beautiful talent!

Bob Dylan did the 4th best version of his own song, behind Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and this guy, in no particular order. Homage, is the politest form of flattery.

I'm a little tired of all the comments inferring this was Jimi's song. It is of course, a Bob Dylan composition. As popular as Jimi's cover was, I feel that Jeff Healy's rendition is glorious. I can't help but wonder, would Jimi have ever been as adept as he was, if robbed of his sight? Jeff really was something else. RIP Jeff.

this guy is a freak of nature... the fact that he is blind and the fact that he play the guitar differently than any other person, laying down, using his hand completely backwards to the way anyone else does it...omg... what a genius musician...

I love to see the comments about Jeff,, and people comparing Jeff to Jimi,, I do too, and that is sacred ground but yea Jeff really did smoke the hell out of the All Along the Watchtower, its fair to say only version that beat Jimi,,, and Jeff and Jimi are enjoying that Great Gig in the Sky,!!! oh and Congratulations Jeff ,!!! now on Canada's Walk of Fame,, thank you Christy Healey,, I know Jeff is so proud,,,

Most definitely man. I honestly never imagined that I would ever find a version of All Along the Watchtower that even came close to Jimi's,but Jeff was a true musician, just like Jimi. Much more than just a guitar player.

Bob Cardenaz I agree it is the gold standard for a studio recording!!! El primo A1 first class when I seen how they played 3 tracks of Jimi of his guitar in one song I seen the magic and Jimi got a little aggravated when people said all your gimmicks and gadgets and I do too because all the recording in the world couldn't replace his talent and imagination! Always had a hard time figuring out who is my favorite musician or my favorite band? Is it Zeppelin is it Pink Floyd is it The Doors or is it Jimi Hendrix? I love them all!! But all around musician is Jimi Hendrix,, and that's where I stand today I don't know about tomorrow it isn't here yet?

What is so amazing is at the end where he reaches out and grabs the microphone and knows right where it is even though he doesn't have any eyes. He just danced all over the stage but he knows right where the microphone is.
