I heard you cant do microneedling while using retinol. Dont you use tretinoin? Did you pause it for microneedling? If so, for how long did u stop before the session?

@ninjapiratess 9 сағат бұрын
I have been wanting to get microneedling done for a while. I just saw on one of the clinic's websites that they say you can't (shouldn't) get the procedure if you've used Tretinoin in the last six months! I know you have mentioned using Tretinoin, did you have to take a break from it before getting the needling done?

Hi! I used tretinoin up until a week before.. 6 months is crazy 😅 You can’t use iso tret(accutane) before hand, maybe that’s what they meant.. 6 months would defeat the purpose of getting it, because retinoids can help maintain the results. 🤍🤍

How long does it last for? Weeks? Months?
@SarahSaleen
@SarahSaleen 16 сағат бұрын
I guess a couple months.. since a beauty maintenance thing a lot of people do it once every quarter to maintain results.. but of course really good home care will ensure the results last the longest

I have to scars on my face that dip inward, and I was told that TCA cross or going beneath them with a needle repeatedly would break the scar tissue or fibres or whatever it is that caused the skin in the centre to be depressed. Like it’s being held down by bungee cords and the cannula goes beneath and breaks them and it releases the skin and e scar flattens. I have wondered if this would help. Are you familiar with what I’m talking about? 😅

I get a chemical peel every month, but I've been wondering if i should also do microneedling 🤔
@SarahSaleen
@SarahSaleen 18 сағат бұрын
Yes do it! If you’re a candidate for microneedling, yess! Switch it up and see what you like more. If you’re getting peels that actually peel your skin off or cause a lot of flaking, then microneedling healing will be a breeze for you🤍
@PracticalTactics

@SarahSaleen I think I am a candidate. lol my Sebaceous filaments need some work 🙈 I get a tca peel, which I really like, but I'm trying to step up my skincare game. The Tca peel seems like a breeze compared to the clear+brilliant I got every month last year from laserAway lol. Thank you for your help!

Hii! Oh no you’re not nosy.. oh wow I really should talk about it more. This gave me a video idea 😂. I loveee Lexus, and I love having these cherry colored seats I’m obsessed. It’s the Lexus IS. My car tint is full ceramic, (don’t get dye it won’t do anything) I had the all the windows done, including the front windshield- a lot of people don’t (maybe this is a state specific thing, so check that so you don’t get pulled over, but the tint shop should know how much tint you can get away with) It’s 98% uv reduction- the actual darkness of my tint is 30%- but the darkness doesn’t really affect the uv, that part is dependent on your preference and the legality in your state. It was a gift from my husband but I remember him saying around $1000. It’s soo worth it. 🤍🤍

It’s not about your immune system. It’s about acne and how it forms. Someone with acne that is worsened from the bacteria that multiples in moist places like on a towel, will benefit.. doesn’t have to be disposable.. can also just be a clean towel every time. This is about achieving a skin goal.

Hey! Yes I do this often. A lot of spf dry down quickly on the skin, and those are perfect, you can top with Vaseline.. the only downside is it may remove some of that spf for the lips.. but its great that you already have spf lip balm to use more throughout the day. Aquaphor has an spf version if you just prefer that Vaseline feel 🤍
