God bless America. Where people are FREE to do what they please without pretentious assholes controlling every little thing!! Your fishing community sounds a lot like our HOA’s. Nobody likes a HOA.

I see that in Uk and other big countrys that are so well developee , is a trending of stupidity😂 in Romania if you go to fishing in a private lake you can tak photos even the staff from lake take a photo for you , i dont see why all this stupidity to not take photo to your fish , i feel bad for you

I watched this video and initially thought you were hard done by. After discussing what happened with a few of my experienced fishing friends it would seem the ban is perfectly justified. A publicity ban is in place to protect the fish from any people potentially stealing them, you joined the club and should of been aware of a publicity ban, so you were either ignorant of this or thought on this occasion you might get away with it. A little hint for you in life. take responsibility of your actions and deal with the consequences rather than moan about how hard done by you are, you broke the rules and paid the price.

I used to fish a southern UK day ticket water many years ago, it was heavily stocked with cats and carp, ironically they had a resident greylag goose too! I used to catch cats regularly, but made several observations over time, the week of the full moon I'd be catching cats in huge numbers, the week of the new moon I'd catch the bigger fish. Fishing over a spodded bed of trout pellets, and I mean huge oil slick above the baited area type bed, fishing a single pop up, overweighted, on a 4 inch snakeskin hinge rig, with a strong size 4 hook, 2 ounce running pear lead, all wrapped up in a pva bag full of pellets, tied into an aerodynamic ball for casting the 100 yards or so we were fishing at, braided mainline, 35lb nylon leader to take the shock of casting 3 oz plus pva bags. The cats were not interested in the pop up, a cork ball would have had the same effect it was just a confidence thing, some of the guys i fished with were a little dubious of not having an edible bait on the hook, but the fact remains they were just in the baited area hoovering pellets, we had to be careful of where we held fish for photos, trails of liquid trout pellets running down the bivvy suit is never a good look 😂 Anyways great vid, good luck in your future adventures, i hope some of the information I've posted can help you put a monster on the bank, the British record was 62lbs at the time, they have gotten bigger since I was making waves in the angling fraternity but I'm 100% certain that feeding habits have not!

Another awesome video! I live in the US and I’ve only been (UK-style) carp fishing for a little over a year now, but it’s amazing (and encouraging) to see how much “your” angling skills have improved in such a short time👍 Not to mention your video editing and narrating skills are through the preverbal roof!!! Love your content - Joe

Loved the video Tom. It was really nice to see you and your buddy (Carl) together again👍 By the way, I always appreciate your humor - I think the funniest part of the video (at around 16:07), was when you asked Carl “do you always walk like that”, and Carl responded “No”! and you followed up with “you should”! Pure comedic gold😂😂😂 I’m still chuckling as I write this write this🤣 Keep up the great work!!! - Joe (from the US)

Great video and im glad you caught your big fish ^^ just a quick tip from me as a specialised wels catfish angler with over 10 years experience only doing that with a lot of fish over 2m caught in Switzerland. Use at minimum 2/0 single hooks and a lead with at least 200g, so the fish runs in the weight and hooks itself a little bit already which leads to less fish losing. Thats why we even use 2kg stones and not leads 😂 then a 0.8mm leader and 0.50mm main line with a 200lbs swivel and youre good to go even for the 100kg fish ;)

You need an Engwe Engine X electric bike, it is designed for off road use, suspension front and back, a nice strong shelf over the rear wheel. You can can all you need on the bike with paniers and the shelf with rod holdall on your back for a day session. Or add a trailer to tow behind that can carry a bedchair and kit for an overnighter or a couple of nights. Good luck!

New subscriber here. I live in Wales and have fished alone all my life. The more I hear of these bans the more I feel glad that I've never been a part of it. Carl knows one or two of the places I've been lucky enough to have to myself over the years as I invited Him and Alex to come and fish here and it features in one of his videos. I've now found myself a new pool and can honestly say I know just how you must have felt Tom. The place means everything to me and I love it there.

It's not all about posting a photo but more on the lines of certain members that get very jealous of new members who catch a great fish that they have never been able to catch them selves and identifying where you caught said fish so they can move in on where you were fishing. I have seen this behaviour from many people in different clubs that were associated with the committee members and often involves the bailiff it's sad but true and I have seen this happen on several occasions to different members.
