When it’s hot and humid I very easily feel like I’m having heat exhaustion within a matter of minutes. It’s hard having a partner who wants to do all these things and he can’t understand why I can’t do these things anymore.

I love project bags as well, and every single one of my projects, needs one…that’s why we need so many!! I belong to the group of people who almost NEEDS to have knitting (sometimes also crocheting) in my hands when I’m leaving the house. Be it on the treadmill at the gym, in the city, while going for a walk or hiking. It’s honestly safer for me to work on a project while walking than if I’d be on my phone! I’ve fallen over stuff, or walked against stuff cause I was concentrating on my phone, but I’ve not even stumbled while knitting while walking ;-) I even work on lace and cable projects as long as I know the pattern by heart 😊 At least with my current lace projects I have to look at my hands the whole time (mainly due to the yarn), and it still works perfectly 😂

I enjoyed your video. I'm a fibromyalgia woman in my sixties. Depression is part of the chemical imbalance, I believe, as are the jolts of anxiety feelings. Thank you.

I know what you are going through too, I was diagnosed with lupus and find out I have fibromyalgia, and the pain is bad, and headache can get bad. I have being going through this a year and had serizures from it, so I hear you. But I'm getting better. And if no one believes you hurt that is their problem. But I believe you. Get better.

I got diagnosed with fibromyalgia a year ago. I've had the symtoms for like 2 years. I still don't get used to living like this. But somehow the notion that with time I'll forget what it was like to be "healthy" does confort me. I just want to get used to this and not let it get in my way so much. But of all the symtoms, "painsomnia" has got to be the worst. It's tough, but hopefully I'll start to feel better about it.

I have fibromyalgia cfs mcs ddd osteoarthritis and scoliosis, I get migraines but not as chronically as my husband who I think might have fibro too. I don't take any medicine because I wanted to have kids (I have 2 boys 3 1/2 and 1 1/2) and its hard some days i won't lie! Magnesium (malate or malic acid in morning) as well as magnesium glycinate help.

I’ve had hypothyroidism for approximately 26 years - my thyroid markers TSH and T4 are both high which contradict each other with the T4 saying I’m hyper. Now I am presenting with Dysautonomia symptoms and get rushes of a hot flash through my body and head. My temperature can drop as low as 92.9 (one time that I documented) but usually 94/95 range and I hop in bed on a heating pad until it climbs back up to my usual 97.7. I’ve told doctors and the emergency department where I have presented with bizarre symptoms and they look at me like I’m either lying or nuts and tell me that my two working thermometers are broken. Does anyone here have Orthostatic Hypotension (low blood pressure upon standing)?

Your assessment is correct. It is hard for my husband to understand what I am going through and then I feel guilty for my feelings. I am depressed a lot just because there is SO MUCH to deal with. too many problems it makes me wonder if life is worth living. Nothing fixes the problems and the physicians are useless.

I would try to not wear sunglasses unless u really have too because sunlight thru your eyes activates vitamin d and if u keep wearing sunglasses u will always be sensitive to sun. Also staring at tv and computer and phone damages your eyes. Just letting u know. You know whats best for you

I find Sunglasses with full UV Protection very helpful, when this happens. It can prevent UV Damage too. Also i always wear Cappies. My Sight varies a lot, depending on Stress and Health. And not only Sight itself but the Processing of Sight. I have ADD, and not on Paper cause nobody cares, Fibro and Depression. My Meds are Pregabalin and Elvanse. I please wish it to not be Autoimmun but also i know how my Reaction to Vaccination is. Serious Disregulation of some Sort sounds qualified too, to me. My Add and Fib seem to like each other much. Your Video and Style of it are good to follow. Subscribed.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I can totally relate to you. I am in a HUGE flare right now and have been for a few weeks. Just can’t function. Making it worse is that I have relatives visiting from England (I live in Canada). They are staying an hour away from me, but want to see a lot of me while they are here. I have told them that I can’t do a lot of physical things with them, but don’t think they really understand and don’t know what fibromyalgia is. I went out for breakfast with them todays ago, then we went for a walk in the sun and heat and then went for dinner. By early afternoon I could feel my body breaking down and my pain and exhaustion taking over. I have been in excruciating pain since then. I am seeing them again in two days for a,whole day again. I’m totally dreading it. There are five of them, so even just entertaining them and conversing is too much for me. Like you say, we just can’t explain why we feel so bad and what makes it worse. I have spent the last two days sitting in a chair with a heating pad and a blanket. Then I feel guilty for not accomplishing anything for the day. Unlike you I broke down and took double my pain meds. I am 76 and have been suffering from this debilitating illness for nearly thirty years, so at this point just want some kind of pain relief. There is nothing wrong with feeling sorry for yourself once in a while. We can’t be strong every day. I’m sure most of us try our best to appear as normal as possible to those around us most of the time, but we are only human and our bodies break down once in a while after with this constant pain and stress that we deal with. Love nd hugs to my fellow chronic pain sufferers❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

Fatigue, extreame stiffness in joints and joint pain in the morning and at night, skin sensitivity to touch, sweating randomly, weakness when walking up the stairs and lifing things, muscle cramping in my legs, twitching, itching with no rash, tingling, and hard time sleeping are among some of my symptoms. I started some autoimmune testing and so far I tested ANA positive titer 1:320 homeogeneous. Hope to find out what's wrong with me so I can start some sort of treatment. My heart goes out to everyone suffering from fibro and any other condition/ disease ❤

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 21 years ago. When I have bad days my husband says I'm exaggerating. I work full-time, cook meals, clean up afterwards, clean house (what little gets done), do laundry, feed our 9 cats and 2 dogs, do yard work, do shopping and do yard work. I went for years undiagnosed because I didn't want people to think I was a hypochondriac. I come home from work, fix supper and after eating I fall asleep for the next hour to an hour and a half. I was diagnosed in 2002. In the last 21 years I haven't had an improvement. I have learned naps are my best friend. I hope soon I will be able to get medical help . I've enrolled in Medicare but it won't go into effect until October. Hopefully soon I can get a grip on this disease.

I have many the symptoms especially sensitivity to touch. Anything that touches my skin causes widespread body pain with burning, prickling, dull, shocks and warmth to my joints , body aches like I'm sick and the fatigue. Wind from outside hits my skin and I'm whimpering in pain, same with a fan. A sheet of my bed hurts me too. Even the clothes I'm wearing bother me so badly with pain. Laying on my soft bed still hurts me because the pain touch triggers. I'm not diagnosed with fibro yet. I have an appointment with a Rheumatologist on July 11 but I am confident I have it. I tested ANA positive 1:320 titer honeogenous which is pretty high according to my doctor. So that's why I'm being referred but will also ask for fibro testing as well. Any tips to reduce this pain would be greatly appreciated as Tylenol PM doesn't work much 😢
