Thanks for this video! I really struggled to get the cake to rise- any recommendations?

The besy videos are those which show the ingredients the quatities and demonstrate with no talk how to do it. And we are thankful. But these long ones will not be watched because people do not have the time.

Why did you take so much of our time show7ng how to mix?

I miss Kipling's BB cakes, and this gives me the strength to make one myself! I could eat one every Sunday for tea. I greatly appreciated your tutelage and the end result (I wish I could have had the end pieces!!!).

Nah... that's not a marzipan. You didn't even use almond extract. Hard pass.

Agree with the removal of the hot pink flowers 😆 The rest of the colours go very well. My FAVE was the cornflowers 😍 That was magic to watch you make, and the colour was amazing 👌👏👏👏

Love this! I've been looking for inspiration to summon the courage to make it myself and this is it. Question: how did you divide the pan?
@florabundancecakes76423 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. So you have two options; first, you can buy a special battenberg tin that has dividers built into it. If that doesn't float your boat, you can double up greaseproof paper and tin foil and fold it into dividers. Make sure you grease the tin foil if you use that option as cake batter can stick to it. Hopefully this helps!
