You know what would have been a very cool moment? After Traxler gets shot, the cop at 3:20 should've took careful aim and put several rounds in the back of the Terminator's head, thinking he'll finally "end this." We then see the cop's shocked expression after he sees even THAT doesn't stop him. He finally realizes 3 disturbing things before the Terminator turns around and kills him: 1. This guy wasn't simply "wearing body armor" like he initially thought. 2. He really wasn't human. 3. Kyle Reese WAS telling the truth after all. That would've been a whole lot better for his character than him just simply yelling out "HEY!" and shooting him in the body like everyone else already did, especially since he's the last one we see try and take the Terminator down.

I must of watched this scene over 1000 times and every time I see more details I love. Like how @ 1:04 This was the first time Ripley has shot the pulse rifle and you can tell she wasn't expecting the kickback. Now contrast this moment with the time she is fucking up the queen's lair. She not only can handle the rifle's recoil with ease but able to hold that plus the flamethrower. Really goes to show how quick she's able to learn and adjust when she needs to. I love this movie

The only regret i have in life is that i didn't get to experience this masterpiece in theaters, and this scene alone is worth every penny and alot more of an imax ticket.

According to T2 when they question Sarah Conner, original Terminator killed 17 police officers. So I guess 13 people survived out of 30. One Silverman(possibly, although not a cop) and another the one who was knocked out. Perhaps hidden or injured.
