Just ran across your video, I have one question: how do you look at the word Jaguar and pronounce it, jagwire?

Probably the same way I look at other words I guess?

Both cars had a lot of potential; hopefully, GM could bring them back.

I imagine the mileage would be improved if the gearing was lower to account for bigger tires. My theory is that would only help in the city though. I have an f150 on 33 with the factory gearing. I have to use a lot more power to maneuver at lower speeds.

I have a 2015 base Cayman with 36,000 miles. It seems when ever I come to a stop there's a thud coming from the transmission. My Porsche mechanic said it is nothing to worry about it's a Porsche. I had the clutch and transmission serviced for fluid change. Still does it.

There’s a lot of everyone doing safari builds right now which no doubt is awesome! But I think everyone is itching for something a little different. I’ve personally been working on a daily type of build using aftermarket parts to try to find some power here and there but mainly boost the reliability of the car. But I’d love to see someone do something I don’t have the budget to do which is just build a balls to the wall NA build and see how much power you can get out of it. Lindsey stage 2 head, Web cam, MAF some MSDS headers, maybe some fun suspension now that there’s a lot of stuff out there for these cars, custom dash setup. Basically build the fastest NA 944 track attack type of car possible. Basically a car to answer the question (what if we did everyone on the forums says is a waste of money) type build haha.

987.2 started in 2009. Base 2.9L had port injection, no risk of bore scoring, shorter 1st and 2nd gears compared to S model, same brakes as S model except not painted red. 987.2 Cayman S has the 3.4L that is direct injection, very reliable but some have expressed concern for possible bore score and carbon build up.

Back in 2007 I had an NA Solstice and my dad had a 996 Carrera, I drove both and I had a blast having a Solstice as my daily. I'm definitely biased as it was my first car but I gotta say the Solstice aged much better aesthetically hence me looking to buy another one out of nostalgia lol

A PPI and service records are a must for buying any used Porsche, unless a Porsche dealer has made it a certified pre owned car, in which case they have thoroughly inspected it and fixed any defects. Good info.

It must be bots subscribing to your channel because that Porsche is really dumb and never gets off-road channel views with any of the five other channels off-roading that Porsche. It's so ugly and preformed like any factory equipped Jeep, it's not a G-Wagon.

I have two 996’s. I bought my 2001 Carrera tiptronic with a full aero kit and wing for $20k that had 50k miles about 5 years ago. 3 months ago I bought a 2004 Carrera 4s 6 speed with 40k miles for $35k. I feel like both of these were a steal.
