Thank you for getting the lore right 👏🏼 I think D22 is the iteration of the suit. In Doom Eternal when you go to the colletion room you can see that Doom Guy periodically modifies the suit. It would seem to me the knowledge and process to create the suit was done so by a demon more advanced in ranking than the hell priests, the wretch, and only the knowledge as to how to alter or tinker with the armor is left with Doom Guy himself. I also think Doom Guy is more than capable of producing the suit of armor himself simply because he conscripted its creation to begin with.

Covenant tech was underutilized and it never saw its true potential in the covenant. More often than not the reactors on covenant ships were producing far more power than they needed, and Slipspace drives only saw their full use after Cortana got control of a covenant ship.

My favorite part is that everyone is mentioning 'the wretch', a Seraphim, and Samuel Hayden. Now, I don't know 'the wretch' as much, but if you listen to the Seraphim's voice (the one that uses the machine on him in Doom Eternal), and Samuel Hayden... Yea, it's the same guy.

Well he didn’t decide to stay in hell after doom 2 as you made it seem it was after doom 64 when he beats the resurrector and as a final payback to doom guy for killing her sister(the mother of all demons) she sends him to the first ages of hell with no way out and nothing to do but fight the hordes of hell eternally until he’s transported to sentinel prime on argent dnur(I still wish they explained what exactly transported him there it’s the only pretty big whole in the lore)

I'd argue that it's not ao much racism so much as not wanting conscripts or pirates as a part of your primary fighting force; if they were dishonorable or otherwise untrustworthy outside of a warzone, there's really no reason to expect them to be any less so amidst the chaos.

Didn't the Doom Hunters get created by Deag Ranak after Doom 2016? He said he used then thought to be extinct Agaddon Hunters as vessels which he upgraded as you can see in Eternal they weren't as cybernetically augmented as they are now, perhaps they were more like Tyrants or Dread Knights before but more stealthy since the Night Sentinels refer to them as "Lethal stalkers of the Metal Age".

Covenant empire was a civilization more inclined to adaptation rather than innovation. Meaning: they was used to take whatever they found from the Forerunners, adapted to their needs, and just go for and with that. Without trying to understand how it worked. UEG/UNSC is an innovative civilization. It means that not only they can adapt new technology retrieved from the Forerunners, but they also try to understand it, crack it, innovate it. Despite the initial balance of power, it was clear that on the long run UEG/UNSC would had the upper hand, developing new technologies able to defeat the Covenant. Even the Didact was surprised that Mankind wasn't yet able to force the Covenant into submission. "If it have forced these primitives into submission, humanity have not yet reclaimed the mantle. There's still time..." But the Didact too was misjudging the situation. He was alone. There was not enough alive Forerunners in the galaxy at the time to re-start their civilization and hold the Mantle. His hopes was in vain. I feel pity for him. Technically we could still have playable elites someday. If it’s all a simulation, then I’m sure there’s ways to “mod” the simulation so that Spartans can choose whatever appearance they want to use during the fight, even look like an Elite.
