this guy angers me. Why doesn't he learn the sheet by heart ? His arms are hampered by holding the sheet. At least he could use a music stand.

John Johnston doesn't sound like a basso to me. He seems afraid of the top and cracked in a funny spot in his voice, not where you'd expect. It's a nice voice. I think it'll change with maturity

Austin is quite wonderful, but to be bolder in this aria and others be really must develop stronger chest voice and coordination.

IDK, his chest voice sounds pretty strong to me for a fach that sings 99% of their notes in head voice.

Extraordinary: What a great musician and what a humble person she is. I ve listened to her Orchestra Versions of this Mozart concerto just half an hour ago. Man, I must say I can hear the contrapunctual lines of the voices better here than in the orchestra version. I also kept waiting to hear mistakes, but i could not.

What a fantastic tempo she sets at the outset of KV 503 (which I am playing next month) and bang on and she is really so humble too! So many performances I've heard race away with Mozartian tempi.

1:20:15 this strange claim that some "secular Jews" make, that the religion of Judaism doesn't require a "belief in God" is quite strange. why would you dress a certain way, if not for the commandment of a God? refuse to use a light switch? not mix meats? not consume yeast? recite verses in Hebrew? none of the religion of Judaism makes sense as a practice that isn't based on the belief of Jews being chosen by God, and God requiring certain beliefs of his people. anyone have a link to somethin that makes sense, without a ton of fallacious mental gymnastics, about how someone can practice as a Jew and not believe in a God?
