man, i was 22 at this time. and living in chicago suburbs. wish i was saw this. in fact one of my all time all favs that I never got a chance to see. Highly highly underrated. But ya know I think that was Kory's plan all along. Kind of a "sleeper" band but man they are a strong/in your face band. Isn't it crazy to think that so many of their songs/messages are exactly what is going on the USA in 2024. Visionary!!!!!!

Obscura has been my favorite album EVER since I heard it back when it came out. I used to spend around $100 a week in CDs in the late 90s. I bought Obscura randomly, barely hearing anything from "Erosion Of Sanity" and "Considered Dead." I was, and still am so stoked I got to open for Gorguts, Cryptopsy, Nile, and Oppressor in 1998, and Gorguts, Vader, Cryptopsy, and Divine Empire in 1999. Good memories!! I played hundreds of shows, toured, recorded, etc. from 1997 to 2016. Then I got married, proper job, blah.... My life fell apart beginning in January of 2021. Played some shows with a hardcore punk band later that year.... not my scene. I was going to give it all up, but in February of 2024, at 45 years old, I joined a deathmetal band and I'm getting ready to play my fittest metal shows in 8 years!

This reminds me of a bootleg video I had from the same year. I think it was the day after Kurt Kobains death, Dicky talks about it during the show. Any chance you guys filmed that one too? I lost it years ago. It was on VHS.
