If you use a tubing cutter to cut down the shaft, you do not have wo worry about cutting any wires and it makes a nice clean cut. Since it is plastic and thicker than tubing it takes a bit more turning of the cutter to get through the plastic, but worth it.

Have you seen a 70lb thrust motor bow mount on a kayak? Is it too much? I have a PWR129 and I'm wanting to pair a good unit with my hummingbird.

Just ordered a pwr129 with nk300 motor. Kayak sales & install is installing motor & foot controls. I am in NJ & fish in bays & sometimes in ocean. Do you recommend installing battery ( installers prefer) in back of seat? Or do you like in front hatch? Advise appreciated.

i have a 10 ft one man Creek boat plastic not as heavy as a kayak but i run a 30 lb thrust trolling motor and i fish the Cape Fear river and Black river here in South East N.C. my average day is about 8 hrs on the water in current so can i get by with 50ah or 60 ah or should i go with the 80 ah i am on a tight budget and what type of charger would i need i'm sure my battery charger for my lead acid battery wouldn't work i don't know what i need for lithium

I would love to see you guys fit the Propel Drive System in the place of that storage compartment. I feel like Bonafide missed the mark by not having a pedal system for this. But since they use the Propel Drive for the P127 I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit. Something to think about.

So what did the customer do with the pdl. Leave it in place or is there a replacement lid to fill in? I am looking at buying an older model like 2018 I think. I may do this same thing with it
