I have this exact model, and it works great. Ya gotta vacuum thoroughly and in all directions first if you want to do it right (north to south, east to west). Then work slowly. As dark as that dirty water was, you also need to go over your rug a few times. The water should be like a murky gray when your rug is clean. Im also surprised at how little water came up. Were you using enough, or did you not take the time to suck up all the solution you dropped? If it's the latter, then that's another reason why your rug didn't give you the results you wanted.

Hmm interesting. Even tho this video is short, I was going over it for like an hour multiple times. Idk maybe it could have been my rug and the material?

@erinkristinab possibly. It looks like you have shaggy carpet and mine is much shorter. I wouldn't think it would make THAT big of a difference though

I've had a similar Bissell rug cleaner. It's a fairly good machine, but the problem is it works GREAT the first couple of times, then it's difficult to get the nozzle/brush head to seal properly into the machine after you clean it. If it doesn't seal properly, there's no suction and you're left with a wet dirty rug. I spend more time fiddling with it to get it to work right than I do actually using it.

I could see that! I felt it was a lot of work even with the first use. Although I know I wasn’t using it properly fully. But still, having to unscrew to clean the brush and everything and getting all of the dirt out of the casing wasn’t the easiest

If the instructions said vacuum, and you did not, you will have dust bunnies and worse come out of it. That's any brand any model. It will also clog it and cause damage that spare parts cannot repair. I speak from experience.thats actually not a bad model. It's the one I got to replace the one I broke. The cleaners all work the same. Its the fluid that matters. Depending on the level of soil and type of material, you can get cleaners that will be more effective.

Thank you for your help!! I really didn’t think vacuuming was gonna make that much of a difference so that makes sense. Also, I didn’t read the instructions thoroughly before starting. I was thinking about getting one that is a little more powerful

I booked the ATV excursion the night before because a couple of spots opened up! Originally it was sold out. The Glass Boat tour we booked about a week before, but honestly they have a lot of availability so booking the day of probably would be okay. I would suggest doing it a few days before!

Just found out my childhood dog might die later this year…Ik it might seem like not a big of a deal but for it Is, he was their for me when no one was and helped through rough times..I got him when I was 3 I’m turning 13 this year he is mixed with a poodle and idk what else, but I’ll miss him 😢❤
