Colorado barely beats a banged up tampa team without this dude playing^ and their fans wanna act like they accomplished something. Tampa swept florida and grinded out NY without point. Colorado was rested from beating all their cup cake teams

Colorado DID accomplish something great, let's not diminish their accomplishments due to factors not in their control. Lightning fans have heard/seen their share of "dIdNt CoUnT" and "18million" these past couple years and it's all bs.

After the cup, I can't stop watching videos on him... It really feels like we're witnessing history unfolds like in the Lidstrom years. People are saying McDavid could be one the best player ever, Makar could be right up there as well, and it's exciting to watch those players evolve

He is the reason I bought a season ticket, despite not being able to afford it and living five hours from Denver. Mackinnon, Landeskog, Rantanen, Kadri and Nichushkin are just icing (pun intended) on the cake. You only see talent like this once in a lifetime. I don't want to miss a single point, let alone his minutes as stellar defensemen. He is the Michael Jordan of the NHL. He does things you just can't do, UNLESS you are Cale. All Hail Cale!

You talk to anybody in hockey about skating and using your edges and the first person they talk about is Sydney Crosby. I now put Makar in that Elite level skating tier. There are very few people who skate as smoothly as Makar does. Makar is one of those five tool players that is dangerous anywhere on the ice. He does things I haven't seen any defensemen do ever. You see how he shakes guys at the blue line, goes to a bird step and changes the angle of his shot to make sure it gets on net. He's a master of time and space to boot. As a guy who played defense my entire hockey career, when I saw him in college, I started fashioning my game after his. You have no idea the level of detail in his game once you start trying to emulate it. He's just on a completely different level.

Hard to process how stupid this comment is. And Brayden point is literally in my top three favourite players. I’ve had his jersey since he started with Tampa. And I think he is way underrated he is one of the absolute best in the league. But you actually think that if either of those two were on Tampa, they wouldn’t have a cup? Especially mackinnon who has dominated the playoffs…what are you even talking about. You’ve either never seen the other two play or are just as dumb as they get

Idk about top 3 in the league bro. Easily a top 10 centre man but there are so many exceptional players in the league that Point falls short of the top 10 in the league imo.

@@mrgibbles5427 It helps that he plays with a top 3 winger in the league. Point/Kuch together are fun to watch, especially in the playoffs.

He’s good bro. He has top 5 player potential but at the moment, off the top of my head, Pastrnak, Crosby, Kucherov, Marchand, Kane, Mackinnon, Draisatl, and McDavid are all better, and that’s just off the top of my head
@mrgibbles54272 жыл бұрын
@@Yellowfver783 there are just so many really good players in the league that Point falls short. I’d say guys like McDavid, Draisaitl, Mackinnon, Matthews, Kucherov, Pastranak, Hedman, Marchand, Panarin, and you could even make the argument for guys like Barkov, Huberdeau and Makar being better. Point is still a top 10 centerman in the league tho.
