It's a shame this video attracted some charming fellow countrymen in the comment section. :P I really enjoyed this video. Felt like hanging out with friends who know more about my own country than I do.

Are people really that stupid that they don't understand the difference between Holland and the Netherlands, how difficult can it be💩
@carolinavanderlande49043 ай бұрын
Please, get over it! We have been marketing our country as Holland for ages, it’s a bit strange to blame foreigners for not knowing the difference between Holland and the Netherlands, don’t you think? Especially when the person in question seems to know more about our history than most of us do.

And most Dutch themselves call The Netherlands HOLLAND. Get over it 😅

@@maxnimmo7809 That's good English? I love how people turn to name calling like 'gammons'. You can call me names for being white but I am not wrong. Over the years I have had language students stay with me from all over the world. They are so excited to visit our capital city. In almost every case they come back and say its too overcrowed - it is, we have let it become over run. And, secondly, they say where are the British people. Are they gammons too?
@maxnimmo78095 ай бұрын
@loopielou4426 more gammon tropes. Did you make up that little story or did you read it in the Daily Mail? 🤔
@loopielou44265 ай бұрын
@@maxnimmo7809 Oh my goodness your arguments are both old and tired and pathetic. No one can stop someone from caring and wanting to defend their country. No one. People come for free speech and then in the end its shut down.
