Conger Mesa has at the middle center of its Southernmost end a man-made dam on its top, creating a standing pond on its northern face. The dam appears to be "natural", i.e. there are no visible marks of construction equipment being used to build it- but it is over 100 feet long, is overgrown with grasses and even trees, is made of rocks and fill dirt, and the lie of it is given by the tributary ravines behind its south side through which the runoff water that now makes the pond once ran downwards off the top of the mesa.

've been saying for a long time the key to getting good photos or video of Sasquatch is setting your trail cameras up right. I was an outfitter for over 20 years and worked with companies on developing trail cameras. Almost all animals can sense trail cameras. They emit high pitched hums, have an electronic smell from all the components used in manufacturing and all the illumination methods used can be sensed to varing degrees by differient animals, even some humans. If you have a highly developed sense of ESP, (Extra Sensory Perception) even a human can detect most trail cameras in the woods. When I was working in the woods every day hunting and guiding I almost always saw or sensed trail cameras before I was in front of them. I am convinced the ones I missed until I was in front of them, were most likely from having dead batteries. I can tell you how you can absolutely get good photos or video of Sasquatch. My real secret I am going to keep to myself for now but I will give three ways to get good footage of Bigfoot. 1. Camera placement. You must set all trail cameras for all wildlife using the predominate wind direction and sunlight. Cameras must be placed in a North or South facing direction to avoid early morning or late even sunlight from triggering the camera or ruining photos. Cameras must be placed where the predominate wind direction takes the smell and sounds of the camera away from the most likely direction of the targets travel. Clean all trail cameras with plain water and give the entire camera a spray of scent killer being careful to protect the lenses. You must use the maximum triggering distance as the target location. If that is 20 feet set the camera so it is 20 feet from the trail, bait, clearing etc. If it is 30 feet set it 30 feet. Test every camera before placing it in the woods to verify the trigger distance is correct. Hide the camera so that even you have difficulty seeing the camera. Put it in shadow, remove all moving branches or weeds that will false trigger the camera. Put the camera back in the woods instead of on the edge where it is profiled and can be easily seen. Your dealing with an intellect equal to or beyond that of man. If you can easily spot your camera, Sasquatch will laugh at you. Put your cameras up high. Your not trying to get world renoun wildlife photos your trying to prevent Hairy Man from seeing/sensing your camera. Use tree climbing screw in steps and put your trail camera up 12 to 15 feet angled down, using the triggering distance as a guide. Remove the steps and bring them with you when you return to check your cameras. Leave your cameras for at least 6 months before you pollute a great site with your scent, noise and disturbance to check them. Todays cameras have a six month battery life and can take up to 10k photos. If I tried to put out trail cams for trophy deer, elk, lion, bear or moose and left the camera a few days or even weeks, I would hardly get a thing to view. Trophy animals are rare and get big for a reason. Bigfoot is 100X more intelligent and aware. 2. Camera Location. The places I see Bigfoot researchers placing cameras are some of the worst possible locations possible. Do not place cameras in sensitive areas. I would never place a camera in a mule deer bedding area. When I saw cameras being placed near possible Bigfoot bedding areas, I literally laughed out loud. The correct areas to set Bigfoot cameras are funnels, pinchpoints and remote isolated water, seeps or springs. I dare say there are probably 100 or more locations/routes that every Bigfoot must take between the East Coast and West, North and South. Find these locations and hide a camera carefully and you will find Sasquatch. There are locations where it may be hours between water holes but there is a hidden little seep or spring that all animals or travelers have to use. Find these locations. Hide the cameras so they are invisible, put them up high or back in a rock pile where they cannot be seen. I would even go so far as to carefully take a patch of bark off a dead tree, hollow out a place for the camera, make small holes the same size as the camera lenses and illumination, then return the bark over the camera and put tiny finish nails in the bark to hold it in place. Imagine you are in Vietnam and it means life or death, thats the kind of precaution you must take! 3. Camera selection. Use small camoflagued painted cameras that have a lightening fast trigger and absolutely trigger every time. Don't use the cameras with the best/brightest night photos but the ones with the most discreet lighting system that works every single time. Riggerously test ever camera to its max distance. There are cameras that are called crop cover cameras. They can be set to take a photo every 30 seconds or every minute of a large area. Find a good bigfoot crossing area that takes 30 seconds to cross and set your camera to take one photo every 30 seconds. These cameras can be set back beyond the range of any triggering device and certainly out of the ESP range of Bigfoot. This is a long post because I want to help researchers. If you want good photos of the big guy you must go the extra mile and take the precautions. Nothing magic about it. If you want a real camera secret that will work even better think low tech, not high tech. I enjoy all the hard work and effort you guys take to do the research. If you want differient results think differient strategy.
