Actual trauma is not treated by recognizing your feelings and meditating them away. This is very insulting to trauma suvivors.

Balderdash. This misinformation is damaging to people treating actual trauma, especially complex PTSD . The process of actually treating trauma is a lot more complex than identifying feelings and "Releasing " them. It is dangerous to a trauma survivor to suggest that feeling your feelings is treatment. That is a loving way from creating safety. The superficiality of this message is actually dangerous to a person suffering from trauma. Knowing who we are and what we experience is only the beginning of recovering from trauma. They are very ignorant about actual trauma and treatment.

I read your comment and I do understand that many people have been through a lot of terrible traumas in life. I’m not sure if you listened to the whole discussion in this video, but, they are speaking about nuances of the therapy that they do. It’s a very gentle, hands-on therapy called MFR or Myofascial release and it helps people to unravel their past traumas, that may have been stored in their tissues, causing pain conditions and solidifying the fascial system. It has to do with the mind and body connection. When someone is getting a hands-on treatment, they can actually release old emotions or memories etc, that have been contributing to their tightness, aches, pains and other chronic conditions. Sometimes during a treatment, people will have emotional releases. I didn’t get the sense they were saying to meditate it away. During a myofascial release session, it is actually very healing to allow feelings to come up and notice things that we have stuffed down, or that we disassociated from, because our subconscious is actually experiencing it all the time, like a broken record. But, because the work of releasing the fascia is happening at the same time, it doesn’t mean we are re-living it, rather clearing it. They mention some other resources about this therapy towards the end of the video. I have, personally, found MFR to be very ‘trauma-informed’ work. I hope this helps.

Where can people learn how to treat themselves with these methods, for those who don’t live in America and will never have access to therapists to teach them self care? Are there any online courses, boos or programs teaching these discoveries? I would love to learn more and support this man’s work, but I will never be able to visit the states or afford international therapy. Any resources would be very appreciated , thank you

Thank you for the talk. The biggest question I’m left with is how do people go about trying to treat themselves, similarly to how you discovered these techniques? Is there hope for those who don’t live in countries with myofascial practitioners, or who cannot afford them, is anyone creating virtual teaching content to reach more people who are desperate to find pain relief but will never make it to one of your clinics? Thank you

Hey there, You're doing an excellent job with your video presentations! Your channel and content are incredibly impressive and in high demand. However, I noticed some SEO issues that are preventing your videos from reaching your intended audience. Specifically, your titles, descriptions, and tags are not SEO-friendly. Addressing these issues could significantly increase your channel's subscribers and views organically. Best regards, Rezaul Bari

I’ve been using the P90 for 3 weeks and it has changed my life! Sleep was elusive to me until the P90. I needed to take prescription medication to sleep for the last 23 years. From the second night on, have not needed meds. Sleep peacefully thru the night. I feel calmer. Anxiety is gone! Worth every dollar!

Thank you for this video ladies and what wonderful work you do. As yoga instructor of 36 years, and a daily practicer, I taught myself to feel my inner energy field, which is excellent when I’m processing emotion. I’m in my tenth year, of now, inner child, body maintenance, and wow how I’ve changed from a yes person to a totally authentic, self loving person, who loves there own company. One can never gain self love until one dedicates it’s life to its human hurt self. My childhood was the collaboration, of every abuse bar murder, and it’s served me well to become an awakened soul who knows that I’m not my afflictions I’m Source light as we all are.

Gosh can I relate to this video. Sitting at my desk at work right this moment with a nagging ache in my low back and right glute med. In my case though the back guys say it's not my back causing my issues but the sports meds guys say they can't help either because it's my back 🙄 I gut my way through most days and I don't plan any events. Carolyn is the first person I've seen that has anything similar to me. Most people are tired of hearing me complain and don't understand the kind of pain I'm having.

Broke my heart, the gift was reconizing my heart was already broken, she did a drive by of giving me a notification of more love, not less love and its importance that I supply that to my wounds that are calling out to be healed.

May I know if it's possible to purchase with you the specific Wedges and Small Soft Balls that mentioned in these video for the treatment? Or may I know maybe which website can I purchase the same Wedges and Small Soft Balls that mentioned in the video? Because I couldn't find it at any rehabilitation and medical equipment shops near me, with the same size of small soft balls and the wedge as well. And unfortunately they don't sale something similar with it either. I'm a professional ballrom dancer and the roatated pelvic problems has caused big problems with my dancing now :( So I urgently need them to fix the roatated problem 🙏 I will be very appreciate if it's possible to purchase them from you directly 🙏

So I had the vagina rejuvenation therma something, done, I believe that's what its called.... This procedure was in the doctors office, OB/GYN and quite expensive at that but when she did the procedure she also rubbed the outside of the vagina. Does this device have that capability or is it only just to insert?

I think this business of emotions trapped in the body say from a past trauma or injury is way over hypped. I developed a very sore wrist and went to a myo therapist. Well to make a long story short, the therapist spent all kinds of time and energy and my money trying to uncover a past trauma in that wrist, which I said was impossible. At one point the pain i was feeling from all the manipulation made me drop out and go to an orthopedic specialist. Diagnosis: tendonitis of the wrist. I am now doing PT for this and it is coming along fine. Wearing a wrist brace 24/7 has done more to alleviate my symptons than all the mumbo jumbo I went through with the myofasial therapy.

Not all structural injuries are from a stored trauma, but many are. Yes, sometimes we just need structural work; but that does not negate the issues that are deeply connected to stored emotion. It's not an all or nothing situation.

What do you think about Yin yoga?
@esstherapy

Yin yoga is great as long as the participant does not "force" into the positions and hold longer than the body can tolerate without discomfort. Many of my self treatment techniques could be considered Yin Yoga. ;-)

Oh wow, I’m just now finding Mr Barnes and he’s blowing me away. I’ve had my own theories about fascia and dr Pollak’s 4th phase water, tying it into nei gong, ashtanga yoga, electric universe, any of the old spiritual/mystic traditions at the core of our current stupid religions. it’s why I’ve been going barefoot in the woods for a year and drinking from a natural spring. I even notice it in a weed that grows in my garden called curly dock that I wouldn’t let my dad pull up because it created a juice that has the same texture as the fascial fluid I see in those old videos… the same texture as seminal fluid or snot. I’ve just known that it’s electric and that it’s the most important thing in the world for some reason lol. And I’m sure Mr Barnes is aware of Michael Levin and his work, and Rupert Sheldrake I see on his reading list. So many ideas, pieces of a big puzzle slotting together… Sorry for the rant but I’m so excited about finding this. I can already tell it’s helping me in my own path of release. Thank you :)

Deep tissue is where emotions are stored.
@esstherapy
@esstherapy 2 ай бұрын
Similar but different. :-) The difference is we do not force the tissues. You don't need to dig deep or create discomfort to connect deeply to the tissues because of the biotensegrity nature of the fascia. Many people cannot tolerate the discomfort of what many call "deep tissue", including myself. Sometimes when we force past the barrier we miss what needs attention.
