Between 1981 up until 1984 I passed through Jeffrey City traveling between Lander and Cheyenne, I worked for the state. I am from the State of Georgia and at the time moved to Wyoming as that is where my father was from to experience the culture there. Jeffery City was pretty much abandoned at the time. There was a Sinclair gas station I would stop at to get a cup of coffee, warm up if it was winter. There were just a few locals around at the time. I drove back out to Wyoming in 2005 to visit family in Lander. Saw nearly everything in Jeffrey City was either vacated or just falling apart into the ground. Just kept my foot on the gas pedal to keep moving on.

I'm confused. Higher temperatures result in compression and lower in expansion? This whole time I learnt that warmer air is less dense and therefore for the same amount of Ai particles, it takes up more space compared to colder air. What am I missing?

Wondering what independent experts thought / think of that Teton Pass 1969 Big Fill project that recently failed so catastrophically and spectacularly

I worked with others on a short term project in Jeffrey City around 1978. The mining company was considering a feasibility study to convert from underground mining to a large open pit operation. However, the uranium market subsequently fell to about $7 dollars per pound, and that idea evidently collapsed. Too bad this happened, and I wish it didn't, but mining is very market dependent.

A friend and I drove the Oregon trail in 2022. His great great grandfather drove the trail in 1902 to search for gold in Idaho. He was murdered outside of Pocatello ID but left a diary. We followed the diary from Wood RiverNE to Pocatello. We tried to find as close as we could each campsite he documented. We wanted to do it with horses and wagon,. We've talked about it for years but ends up we got too old. We would have needed a youngster to go and do the heavy physical labor. We found several campsites and even the one where Dave's grandpa was murdered. We followed those square concrete markers across those sagebrush vistas shown in the video. What a trip. e sagebrush areas shown in the video

I drove through Hartville last August. Beautiful town and it has the oldest saloon in Wyoming. Had a cool abandoned pioneer house on the outskirts. Wish the saloon would have been opened. I’ll be back though.

As universities go, I think they are a waste of time and money. But hopefully the Wyoming university is still teaching kids to think and be intelligent, rather than fill their heads with retarded ideas, you know what I mean cm’on man. But this right here is still the future it’s been proven
