In fact you needn’t worry about toll sections (northbound) until you approach Baltimore. Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia have free access sections. You may need to pay a toll on the New York section going northbound; however, going southbound there is no need to.

No toll payments are required for the I-95 free access Florida section; however, the Florida’s Turnpike has toll sections, so be aware of that.

I-4 would take you to EPCOT Center/Orlando/Kissimmee if you wanted to get off I-95.

Further north you can merge onto I-4 to Orlando/Kissimmee area and EPCOT.

Exit for Melbourne Airport (don’t confuse Melbourne, FL with Melbourne, 🇦🇺)

There’s a Hollywood in Florida so as not to confuse the one in California (which is 100% across the U.S.)

U.S. 1 takes you straight down to Key West. As such, it’s the southernmost federal highway.

Very familiar with this freeway. I live in the south end of Kennewick, Washington and could be on this freeway heading either way in a matter of minutes. Strange thing about this freeway is that although its numeric designation is for an east/west freeway, it really runs north/south. It only runs southeast/northwest through the Yakima Valley.

Darlington and Myrtle Beach are signed off I-95.

Appottamox was the famous site of the surrender of Lee to the Union, thus ending the Civil War.

No cities of note for the remaining stretch of I-95 in Virginia until North Carolina and South Carolina

Virginia pays homage to Revolutionary War and Civil War sites. It should be called the History State.

Among the places that I-95 goes through include: Miami, Daytona Beach, and Jacksonville.

Next major urban core after Baltimore/Washington, D.C. is Richmond, VA.

Don’t confuse Newark, NY; Newark, DE; and Newark, NJ. Those are totally different places.

After Wilmington it continues to Baltimore and Washington, D.C. After this it gets more rural in Virginia, for the most part.

From Philly it goes to Wilmington, DE.

Camden, NJ is opposite Philly on the Delaware River. I-95 changes states from New Jersey to Pennsylvania (albeit slightly indirectly here.)

I-80 is more picturesque than I-95 if you’re going to Delaware Water Gap.

IMHO, I-95 is the most expensive odd-numbered interstate highway, whereas I-80/I-90 is the most expensive even-numbered interstate highway in terms of toll payments.
