When designing a unique part, like at 36:25, I'd tape a piece of paper onto whartever it is that I'm building. Then I can get an exact pattern for the shape I need. I can also mark where the existing holes are cut-outs are, and label where bends are located plus where I want to add or subtract metal for the part I'm fabricating. It's all right there and no need to remember anything once you get to the workbench. I really enjoy watchng you fabricate. Nice work!
