@@mynindo1223 Monica was indeed a newbie (iirc their profile at the time had a total of 2h or so) and Isaac doesn't use quickloading (a method that greatly shortens loading times in this game)

To play online, File 2, bigger scenarios to work together with a team, plus Eliminations and Showdowns. Story-wise File 1 does it better, especially the final scenario being much more interesting than File 2's

The basic premise is 8 random civilians surviving the outbreak. The Outbreak scenario is the starting point, but the rest of the scenarios are not in chronological order, owning to a lot of scrapped content. The games' relationship with canon is shaky at best, with the only confirmed survivor being Alyssa Ashcroft (she wrote a file you can find in RE7) and the rest of the survivors' fate being up for debate, esp as some scenarios will have them appear as NPCs if not present in a team and die shortly into the scenario (such as Alyssa herself in Flashback).

@@juggaknot171 Outbreak has a Room Master mechanic where the first person who loads into a room experiences no lag and everybody else does (which is why sometimes you can see vids of people moving past zombies and they turn around a second later, as they are lagged for each other). I was the Vent Tower's RM and so Yoko could try all day and she would keep missing. The Shotgun's blast compensates for the lag. Once I left RM passed to either her or Jim and hopefully they made it out. It took all I had to finish this scenario, esp after Hunk decided to troll with frameskipping the train countdown.

Yes, Alyssa cursed, so do a few of the guys. As for Cindy she appears as a NPC that dies right afer you enter the zoo if no one plays as her. The in-game voices have a range of one "room" so to speak, but some big rooms require you to move closer to the others to be heard (such as the plaza or outside the restaurant)
