Just coming across this interview now. How did you get introduced to Margaret Whitting ? She had such a beautiful voice . What was it like talking to her ?

Sooo, it never once occurred to anyone to just bring the mic closer to Mr. Little so we could actually hear over that infernally loud air conditioner??

What a wonderful interview, Rian, and what well thought out questions, especially so for such a young man at the time. You seemed to become more relaxed by mid interview and the dialogue flowed better and better as it went along. What a treat it must have been to have Mr. Quisp there for your program. He continues to intrigue me even years after his passing. You and I appear to be about the same age and I see much of myself in you in your interview. Thank you for sharing this with us, Rian. Well done!!

This is an false appraisal of British ( not English television). The odd thing is Quentin never had or watched a TV! He's speaks with a pseudo authority. Thev1970s had superb programmes with American favourites too.

I probably saw Mr Noto play his role 3 or 4 times on the mid - late 80s ... NYC high school drama clubs/ groups used to ... Mr Noto was always spot on... the entire cast was always terrific ... the show was just beautiful and elegant if I may say .... so pristine ... no superfluous schtick .... gorgeous. I played the girl's father twice ... same production... it was a hit ... so it was revived a year later ... just a beautiful show. Thank you Mr Noto. KP

I *ADORE* Quentin, truly I do; I dearly wish I could have met him, but the "friendly" America he describes seems like a short bubble in time, it certainly doesn't exist any more, in fact it's far worse.
