While trying the PowerShell method, running the script didn't appear to do anything but close the PowerShell window. I was able to use the Show Hide Updates tool to hide the update but is that actually fixing the issue, or just hiding my missing update?

I get this only in Windows installer (W10). Windows itself works completely fine. Windows 11 installer works without stretched visual glitches. The Windows 10 install still works, but I am still scared that it causes corruption. Confusing...

I have done this and restored 2 drives but actually i have 3 drives before its disappeared. Now the problem is: D drive cant have access and in properties no security option showing E drive have access but when i open it its showing empty sespite having data out of 84 gb from 497 gb. Please look into it.

Hi there, thank you for your question! I would recommend following these steps. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog. Type "gpedit.msc" and press Enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor in the left pane, navigate to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer in the right pane, find and double-click on “Remove Security tab.” Then choose “Disabled” or “Not Configured,” then click OK and close the Local Group Policy Editor.

Okay, posting in case this helps someone. None of these solutions worked. I finally figured out that I just needed to update the Word app on my Mac. Lol that was my solution!

Thank you for your tutorial. I checked the drive for system errors, it found something, then I hit repair and then was able to delete the file which was corrupted. Thank you very much.

May i ask if chkdsk /x is safe? I ran it in the command prompt on safe mode, from what i saw online, theres a chance that i could lose some files, is it safe to run /x?

Hi there, thank you for your question! Before running chkdsk I would recommend backing up your data on the drive. I would also recommend running it in when your computer is in start up repair mode to minimize potential issues.

The settings will not allow me in Mac studio. Why I’m trying to do this. I’ve went in. Give permission whatever yada yada yada yada come on fix this.
