In general, these combos are impressive, but they're not practical for competitive play. Using so many meters to extend combos is really a waste. In professional play, it's important to save at least two bars to break out of a combo. If you have no meter, you'll just have to sit there and watch your life decrease.

Sorry for late reply. I actually stopped playing mk1 shortly after this due to life circumstances and lack of content but I'm getting back into it due to Ermac being added as he was my main in mkx. I don't have an updated version but if you would like me to to create one or find some more combo routes im happy to do so

How do you get the enhanced kyo snag consistently?I changed controllers,changed settings and release check is off but most of the time I can't burn moves while in the air.

My advice is pressing the enhanced button before doing the final input so you do crouter circle block 2 and that how I get it consistently and generally works for all enchanted moves

He is extremely cheap. He's the easiest character to get 50% and you literally don't need one bit of skill whatsoever. 😂 Hoped to do a full vid today but I've been so busy with A Levels and exhausted so I uploaded a single combo I recorded to not leave my new subs in the dark. Hope it suffices none the less! 😂

@@mk-jamie2923 hopefully they release some buffs and nerfs soon. I know a lot of people want a sub-zero buff but he doesn't need a huge one. Just a small damage buff and he'll be good

I see it like this, 300+ damage means you die in 3 combos + some damage from footsies footsies, which most characters do. Sub is far from unplayable, since he has legit mix off a knockdown, but man his damage just FEELS like shit

Good shit man. Thanks to your scorpion video i was able to land that nasty 50% fatal blow combo but for the life of me i can't play him online, too used to smoke having more ways to get some strings into kombos

I think what a lot of viewers also look for is consistency with quality entertainment, which your videos seem to have atm (especially with mk1 just coming out this past month). However its gonna take me alot longer than expected 😂 I plan to do some online ranked sets soon with scorpion so if you want to watch that to get a good idea of how to play him online your very welcome to. I plan on a tutorial for him too where I talk over how to play him in detail. Haven't talked in a vid yet so it'll be a first.

You can land the full double 32s with perfect timing but this is the consistent safe online one, also i dont kameo sareena but ive seen people get jump ins after the knives

I recommend wiffing the 32s to all the new played who ask about it but for vets like me go for the harder timing. Idk about jump ins to be fair. They seem to reduce damage from the experiments I've been working with. Almost in all cases. The more jump ins the worse the combo. In mk9, x and 11 it always increase the combos damage

Try a different combo route in most cases in mk games when you u special moves more than once in same combo it usually scale more

That is fair. It can be hard for newer players but keep trying and you'll get it eventually. They're not really needed though unless you want to bait out your opponent
