I wish this attraction stuck around longer. It was my number one favorite attraction as a kid.

It's a shame I only did this attraction once (and skipped WDW in 2005) because it has now disappeared. I usually go every single year to Disney but if it weren't for Hurricane Frances of 2004 I wouldn't have given it a break in 2005 but I also would have gone there that year if I'd known the Millionaire game was going to close in 2006. If I worked for WDW I'd seriously bring Millionaire back in place of that stupid 3-D headphones attraction.

In the Disney World/Disney Land WWTBAM Play It! attraction, you played for points. Points were important for 2 reasons. Anyone in the audience who picked the correct answer got those points plus a speed bonus for determining who'd be next in the Hot Seat if there was time left. The Hot Seat player got prizes depending on what level they got to: All levels: A pin with the WWTBAM logo and the point value 1,000: A hat 32,000: A shirt 500,000: Leather Jacket 1,000,000: Disney Cruise for 4

If you're referring to the game itself and not the TV version, there was a fastest-finger question at the beginning of the show that all audience members played, (unless there was a rollover contestant from the previous show, which they really only had in the early months of the show) and then there would be no more fastest finger questions for the rest of the show (unless 2 or more audience members tied during the play-along, in which case those audience members had a FF face off question.)
@michaelfalkner1186 Жыл бұрын
... which usually didn't happen, because of kids in the audience somehow hitting the random buttons in the right combination.
@interrobang2rd16 жыл бұрын
Everyone in the audience did the fastest finger; the first row seats were there for aesthetic purposes.

?!?

There was a fastest finger question at the beginning of every show. Contestants thereafter were chosen based on their score when playing along with the hot seat contestant.

you can't help but feel bad for the person who would've been next in the hot seat. (why would they do that? to upset the patron?
@gameshowguy200016 жыл бұрын
The show itself taped some episodes here during both the Regis (primetime) and Meredith (daytime) runs.
@gameshowguy200016 жыл бұрын
If memory serves me right, there was no Fastest-Finger contest, was there? For sure the contestants were chosen from the audience (a la Walk In & Win week).

This was at Disney World/Disney Land - they used to have this attraction and anyone could play regardless of age. 1 Million points gave you a cruise vacation.
