I love this ship, and thanks for introducing me to the Vickers Swallow, too!

I love it, buut could some hemisphere or other protection be put over the rear of the composite beam dishes? Would also help with air resistance slightly.

Imagine you genetically engineer a bunch of these and mass deployment into a busy city, I think these guys can smash New York in a day

Zeon should sent a bunch of these to earth, they will make a short work of federation in no time.

There is NO canon to Star Trek. Paramount just whores out the franchise at every opportunity.
@KRobinson-ko1neКүн бұрын
The problem with this show is that it has no foundational lore to build upon and that’s because the sequel trilogy lacks that AND a plot of its own: its whole structure was ripped from the OT

Its just so stupid. A mass of only 1 tonne, hitting an object at 90% of light speed, would result in an energy equivalent of about 28 tousand megatonnes.

I've noticed Star Wars fans focus on theoretical min/maxxing without realizing this franchise has thousands of years of stagnant military technology, when, historically, we still carry tactics from pre-gunpowder warfare in modern regular armies. There's a reason Star Wars always shows geurrilla and special forces being exceptionally effective and rare for a galaxy will quadrillions of connected peoples.

Lambda-class also look like the sort of shuttle you operate without a developed base, so the ship being a habitation would also make sense.

Another day, another video where EC is not announcing he is being picked up by Disney to manage all the fluff lore that makes star wars feel like a living and breathing universe. Also YT algorithm is broke because I got this vid 5 months after it went live.

I love your explanation. It actually makes a certain level of sense, and it does look like what is called a "technical," which is essentially a pickup with a gun monted in the back.

nice, but i think the "head" is too smooth and streamlined for a klingon ship. i would have made it a bit more bulky

You put more thought and heart into your designs than Lucasfilm does. Wish they used you. They seem to forget we actually care about spaceships.

Look. They were clever little dudes, but it’s a stretch. Soldiers also adapt to the situation and enemy and I just think it was silly. No current day infantry company would lose to ewoks.

This is also a good demonstration of how ridiculously massive the distances in space are. If we don't actually develop something like warp drives, conquering the vastness of the universe will forever elude us. The only other way I can possibly think of are giant generational ships that would travel for millennia. Or maybe some kind of stasis that could keep people alive for a ridiculous amount of time.

This one I got extra excited about, because it's something I always wanted to see done I tried to picture it myself, but found it a bit hard to translate the "Imperial Style" into the gunship, but you did it almost perfectly The cockpit and troop bay are great. And using the walkers turrents on the front is a great idea However I feel this concept is a bit to combersome (altough that might be the Tarkin Doctrine in a nutchell) The wings are too big (but taking them from shuttles is great thinking), the bomber pods and the compatibility are a great idea, but look too big on the gunship and the lasers on the wings don't look practical (or good) The concept is still great, although a bit mclunky, but seeing this gave me ideas for a 2.0 version (maybe to be used by Thrawn) If you'd like I could share those ideas with you (as I don't have the same talent) May the force be with you

In Porkins's defense, where was he going to eject to? The surface of the planet-sized space station they were trying to blow up? Unless that ejector seat has an engine nearly as powerful as the starfighter itself, he was screwed the moment he lost his engines.

My only 2 criticisms is the film has too much fan service and there is a back story for almost everything. We do not need an explanation for everything. I like the film and was hoping for a sequel. I liked it so much I saw it again in Japan in a 4D cinema. That was an amazing experience
