You are the man! Tomorrow i'm planning on going to a pickyourpart to find a leather car seat which i'll be converting into an office chair and wanted to ensure i didn't get screwed by accidentally getting a PU leather or something like Mercedes MB-TEX faux leather. This will save me a lot of headache im sure.

I'm not aware of real leather dashes except some Italian cars like older Ferraris and Lamborghinis. I would contact the manufacturer.

How is that coating holding up on the seat now? I’d love to see a video of how each of those sides cleans up.

It's still in use as of 2024 in our office. I wipe it down with cleaner every few months, and you can still see the difference between the 2 sides.

Is there any difference in how the seats feel to the touch with the coating? Any other potential downsides like reducing the breathability of the seat material?

No difference in feel to the touch. Also, that seat material doesn't need to "breathe". It's polyurethane. There is no downside to this product.

That's factory paint on a BRAND NEW car? OMG it looks like shit. A friend recently got a brand new Seat Ibiza (basically a slightly cheaper VW Polo) and the paint is miles better than that.

Why did I see grease on the steering boot and on the back grease on the undercarriage by the rear axles? And how did it pass if I could see it and he didn’t?

James that is water, the vehicle had just been washed so naturally water drips down onto the suspension components.

4 piston front caliper, not 2.

My mistake, you are correct. Model 3s come with 4 piston Brembo calipers and pads.
