This is exactly what I think when I'm at the Gym and feel tired. I do it for my health so I am able to enjoy my life and be there for my love ones and when I think I can't continue I remember the Knights radiant, specially Kaladin and Dalinar and continue. I trully belive that Brandon Sanderson throug his books have made me a better man. I am so exited for Wind and Truth.

Kaladin is crafted in a way that allows anyone who has reached a certain age or lived through particular experiences to identify with him. His character is written so skillfully that this Connection feels inevitable. Few characters inspire as much as he does and I'd love to get to know more characters like him.

it is fascinating that the title you chose,, is my deepest though of this anime though and though. I love sport animes as you listed early to get to feel the hype and let the pump me up myself, I am suspended from my loved sport yet since over a year cause of an injury and I really miss my training and game hours. but you videos packed with exact my emotions dedicated to these sports animes always lift me up and my mood, thank you so much for your videos and your hard work put into it. ive js joined the basketball team in my school and i can say that is yamagucchi is the character i feel my experience is most 'in-touch' with. im currently rewatching haikyuu again as a student athlete, yamagucchi is byfar one of the characters i can relate to most. he's a player who was really nervous on court, just a sub player, basically he wasn't all that of a player. its the same thing for me, i get so nervous whenever i play. i suddenly forget everything i know, flunk up moves or plays, i couldnt steal the ball and even the feel of the ball made me nervous. im also just a substitute player usually since im not as skilled as other players on the team are. i sometimes even wonder why i was even on this team. i refuse to even talk to other people on my team unless they spoke to me first because i thought i wasn't as good as them, i was worthless compared to them. i saw myself as just threading water that never improved or changed. eventually yamagucchi became the captain of the team in his 3rd year, was a regular on the line ups. he was able to bring himself through a path of success by believing in himself. in a similar manner this summer, i was able to grow as well and improve myself. my shooting got better, i was more confident in playing, i was able to find my place on the court somehow. it isn't much or is extravagant, but my team captain noticed how my shooting improved and my other teammates' parents praised me for how much i improved. though like yamagucchi, i still feel nervous so i end up flunking up like i used to. its much better than my previous plays when i initially joined the team, but i still think i could've done more. was all that training for nothing? all that practice for this kind of a play? in the end, i remembered that many of my past failures are one of the things that got me at this point of 'improvement' in playing; that i should take these mistakes should make me feel the burning desire to see myself at my best, to show my best, and most importantly to show that i deserved a place on the court.

It's one of my favourite anime. Run with a wind, haikyuu, relife. 3 animes which always came back to my mind. I remember when I watched haikyuu and run with a wind I wanted run and exercise more than usual

From the moment I layed my eyes on zenitsu i fell in love. I saw his whinning as a facade and his sleeping side as his true face, his act said so much but his eyes spoke volumes

I have been related to zenitsu more than I want to be. My wife even say's hes "my" character. I think its because of the insane crippling anxiety, yet when put in positions that would quite litterally break most and would otherwise be deemed unfixable, I've always found a way through my extreme mental breakdowns to come through and come out on top. I don't understand how I have made it to where I have in life.

AOD is actually my fav sport anime. I watch it because I was playing baseball during elem days so I understand its rules. I even recommend it to my friends who watch anime however one problem they face which lead them dropping this anime is because they don't know how baseball works. Unlike Anime like haikyuu where almost everyone knows how to play since it is very recommended in school PE. Since 2019 It is my school ritual to watch AOD from S1-S3 one week before new sem start (i watch this 2-3 times a year). Thats how I'am obsess with this show that I even ready the manga only to know it was also stop. I really don't understand why this is not getting the hype it deserved the STORYLINE, the LESSONS, the CHARACTERS, the COMPETITION and the ART are all top notch. Even with 1% chance I am still hoping they will continue this anime.

Completely agree, this is THE BEST sports anime and an absolute MASTERPIECE! - The best team - The best coach - The best antagonists And most importantly, it makes you feel like there are REAL stakes involved, something that isn't nearly as prominent in every other sports anime I've seen. In Diamond no Ace, when the team loses a match, the consequences are SEVERE. So severe at times, that you'd initially think it will ruin the story, but it doesn't. Instead it just becomes better and better. Anybody who has watched or read it knows exactly what I mean. I have never cried so many tears of both devastating sadness and sheer joy in a sports anime....and perhaps even in any anime.
