Hi,excuse me, am here again to know how save patterns. 1.I created patterns and saved them as ai but I failed(error message)How can I save as ai format. 2. When I saved as ase format and try to open on user defined, a menu popped up but it didn't contain that custom pattern /swatch I created. Please help me dears.

@@georgeluchoronga2462 Pathfinder combines shapes into one solid one so it keeps the one that is on top of the layer stack. Try and see, I think that will be the case. 😀

Hard to tell but one possible idea is if you are using a gradient color it will cause issues.

It doesn’t matter, it is a vector file turned into shapes so you have all the freedom to scale, rotate, etc with no distortion. 😀👋

Well you can also just click on it or marquee select with the Selection tool. In other words, I am showing different ways how to select or use the Layers panel. Hope that helps 😀👋

Since this is destructive, either do multiple undos or go to your composition settings (CTRL + K / CMD + K) and make it longer again. At lest that is to my knowledge. 😀

Thanks so much for this video. I followed the same steps, but I am having trouble. My file imports into After Effects, but only with a few layers, when I have over 10, and in After Effects, it all appears as a black screen. I made sure that it was "composition-retain layer sizes."

This was such a helpful video because whenever I watched an AE tutorial that required the graph editor it never explained whether to use the speed or value graph. One question though, if you arent animating a graphic and instead a video, would there be handles, because there isnt any actual cardinal movement of the clip? (After writing this I realized im talking about time remapping.. :P)
