It’s a real shame that rehearsal Steve Vai is talking about, isn’t available for us mere mortals to wonder at! But then there loads of FZ out here already to blow out tiny minds!!!

SUPER, Vai and Zappa were hard to beat with free style guitaring!! Zappa spring boarded some great talents to the music world. I can't think of an artist that spanned so wide contributing so much to the music world.

У Заппы всегда были проблемы с игрой на гитаре , но он был оригинален и музыкален. Он был композитором и звукорежиссёром.

Just beautiful, and fascinating to learn how much Zappa tempted and cajoled George to extend himself.

Best Zappa era for me. George Duke and NMB are just brilliant combined with Frank. Ruth too! Soundtrack of my life. Musical taste kind of comes in waves but Zappa is what I have always listened to. There’s always so much going on.

People ask “is he all that?” And I think he probably is. Wrong Genre for me. He is the only man who could conduct an autistic orchestra

Sounds exactly like all the countless progressions many of us musicians/writers have thrown away because we've had another 20 or more similar pieces we keep in our memory catalog that for some reason often never come into fruition. Personally, for me,it was mainly the boredom and similar monotony of these dreamy compositions or jams. Nonetheless,Frank Zappa's catalog was probably too huge for many to comprehend. And,probably too immense for a single lifetime to yield.

I have experienced hundreds of concerts in almost 50 years. From big events like Price & the Revolution in Frankfurt to small local festivals. The most impressive so far was Frankl Zappa in 1979 in Eppelheim. It probably will never be topped. R. I. P. Frank.
