Two of my all times favourite singers singing together I'm screaming!!! And Trent smiling and Bowie so amazing as usual!!! AAA it means so much for me🖤🖤🖤😭 Also it feels like they both didn't want to outsing one another and my heart's melting for that, they're such incredible performers, simply the best!

This is definitely for the oddballs and the people that always felt they don’t belong or fit in.

Bowie was from a different life force . No one can articulate and break down music like he could . Stoked he rated The Pixies.

Surely David was a great musician, artist, performance artist, band leader, father, and husband. He became more superb as he aged gracefully. Wish he was here.

i guess im not the only one thinking that David Bowie sounded very similarly to Ricky Gervais; although slightly more charming, of course?

I can't say I knew his works or appreciated Bowie as much as I probably should have in my earlier years, but of course now that he's sadly left us, I can't help but admire the man the more interviews I've seen of him. As a kid I was always told he was a weirdo and went against my family's "Christian values", but he seems like one of the loveliest people ever. I've come to learn despite my overly religious upbringing, all these so called "Satan worshippers" the pastors warned us about are just intelligent people who make more sense of the world than a book written thousands of years ago by multiple old men who have varying accounts of stories in what's supposed to be the book to live by if you believe it.

Lyrics: [Verse 1] I hurt myself today To see if I still feel I focus on the pain The only thing that's real The needle tears a hole The old familiar sting Try to kill it all away But I remember everything [Pre-Chorus] What have I become? My sweetest friend Everyone I know Goes away in the end [Chorus] You could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt [Verse 2] I wear this crown of shit Upon my liar's chair Full of broken thoughts I cannot repair Beneath the stains of time The feelings disappear You are someone else I am still right here [Pre-Chorus] What have I become? My sweetest friend Everyone I know Goes away in the end [Chorus] And you could have it all My empire of dirt I will let you down I will make you hurt [Outro] If I could start again A million miles away I would keep myself I would find a way

Amen, my brother. Amen. I am 73 now. Watched my sister, my best friend, a few good friends leave me here. I am glad that David BOwie enjoyed fame and love in his life. Same for Zappa. Hell, I even thought "Dime Bag" had some chops. Teri Kath, o man, think of what he coulda done. Hendrix, where would he have taken his music? Mick Ronson was sorely missed. And me...30 months in Vietnam, not a scratch on me you can see.. .but deeply hurt psychologically. I do not understand how a nobody like me lives a long life, and people who have so much to offer humanity leave us so soon. Lord, I am trying to understand.

I saw NIN in S. Korea. The Dude was JACKED up like a body builder. I was like... WHO THE FUCK IS THAT GUY!!? He then pumped out song and after song in like 5x speed. Then he sung hurt and things slowed done a bit... then RAMPED IT BACK UP AND ASIANS WENT CRAZY!!... The one concert I missed out on was Linkin Park. By the time I saw the posters on the bus station I missed the shoes date by one day. So pissed at myself.
