The man is the king of observational comedy there's no religion, people or situation he hasn't commented on in his acts over the years. @@crpro1749 Thanks , an adverb.. The confusion between there and their is very common: for instance, the OEC has 438 examples of ‘their was’ and 572 of ‘their is’. Both are plain wrong! This is because their is a possessive determiner which means ‘belonging to them’ (that is, the people or things you’ve just mentioned):

@@maryoneill9630 I think you are confusing Irish Travellers with Romany Gipsies, who have clear links with N. India (right down to the language they speak). Although Irish Travellers have been a separate ethnic group within Ireland for many centuries, I don't believe there is any evidence to suggest that their ancestors arrived in Ireland separately from the general Irish population.
