my mom committed suicide when I was 15. she told me hours before that I reminded her too much of herself. that it scared her. and then she was gone and I was on my own.

Such a great song. Cant believe it's 7 years old now. I remember when this came out and the bright eyes songs seemed old at the time. Now nothing seems that old really. 😅

Apparantly politics is a religion and some peoples only hope and pain in life. Anyway politics are garbage only God matters in the end.

I thought... when I had my first kid, that it would be the only time I would feel that I had found a new purpose in life. But then, I had another. I felt it again and thought I wouldnt have that feeling again. Then I heard this song. I felt that feeling all over again. Recently I had my 3rd kid and hes a new born. I listened to this song and I felt it even stronger. Conor, you have created a masterpiece that now recreates the best feeling there is in life. Any milestone, any age, I will hear this song and feel that again. That reminder that this is the main purpose of my life now and I couldnt be happier! Thanks so much!

The first bright eyes song I heard probably 10 years ago and still one of my all time favorites. I’ll love this band forever!

Glad to see the spark again. Some of the 2022-2023 shows looked a bit disjointed, but this looks to be tight and energized.
@kristaunger7041Ай бұрын
I only watched these via livestream, but I agree, that spark is there! I saw three shows in 2022 (spring, summer, and fall) and even though nothing is easy, lucky, or free, I swear I got lucky-the June 25, 2022 show in Arizona show was seriously one of the BEST Conor shows I have EVER seen, out of 23 over the last 17 years. The energy was like this! I am so stoked for the new album (and tour whenever that happens). 🥳 He has been my favorite musician since August 2002 when a friend played me “Bowl of Oranges,” 22 years going strong. 🍊💙😄

My nephew graduated today and this song has been stuck in my head all day along with a lot of tears. His mom, my sister, loved Conor Oberst and she passed away over a decade ago.
