If it’s a consolation the chockie at $4.50 is cheaper than full price of $6.00 but they were indeed on sale for 1/2 price at $3.00.

Hi from Sydney, I was recently in st Vincent's hospital in darlinhurst, they had yoghurt, which I love but it was the chobani which is greek yoghurt, I tried the strawberry one now I'm hooked

I love the freshwater soap and have even sent the lemon myrtle one to a friend in Louisiana, when we did a care package swap. I also love the rose one. I have seen the lemon myrtle in my local Woolies

I was able to buy that exact Freshwater brand soap in Woolies, I got it on sale for $2.50. I used for making my home made washing powder. It smells so lovely.

I've seen a few other fragrances in my local Woolies of that Freshwater brand and will try them out when I need to buy some more soap. I have quite a stash now though, so it won't be for a while 😉

I have never had a massage stone but can you imagine putting it in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before using it, in summer.

Glad to hear you’re feeling less stressed and getting better sleep. I haven’t bought custard powder for ages but loved homemade custard as a kid and Uni student. I don’t think we have that brand in Victoria.

Yes, life is much better now 😊 Nurse's Custard Powder is a WA brand and made in Perth. It is the flavour that I grew up with and I haven't found another that comes close 😉

QV was developed in Adelaide, by the now non-existent Queen Victoria Hospital. My great grandmother lived on the same block as the Queen Victoria Hospital.

Deodorant sticks do not work as well as sprays for me but I love them, sticks, for carry-on luggage as they are not liquid. I do have to reapply them but I'll overlook that. Adult Son and I went to NZ for almost a week, 18 months ago, and each only took I carry on. Loved my stick deodorant.

I tend to keep an eye out for the bigger items that are on special now as thus saves us the most money. Having a 'backup' at home is never wasted as it means that you can spend extra on other items that week 😊

The joys of living remote....the travelling. It's around 800km to Perth from here. The nearest 'city' is about 400km away, so we don't travel unless we really need to.

Bella and Axel are getting along well. They love playing but Axel still likes to show that he's the boss sometimes.....although if Bella beats him to his bed, he's happy to let her and will sleep elsewhere or on hers.

With that corn beef brisket, you can make what we call a boiled dinner. In a large pot you boil the corn beef brisket, after an hour in the pot you then quarter up potatoes, carrots, and turnip if you have any add to the pot. Then in the last 15 minutes of cooking you add cabbage quartered and add to the pot cooking everything together. Once all vegs are soft meal is done. The leftovers can be fried up together for next days meal. These are very good dishes to eat. Yum!!!.

Yes, we often look for clearance items and notice that they are mostly not replaced once all gone. Otherwise they are just short dated, so being reduced to move quickly. Either emway, we enjoy the cheaper prices while they last. 😊

I am pretty sure that the Australian Woolworths is not related to the American one. Here in Australia, it is one one the main grocery stores that we have.
