One of the locals in San Francisco made it. Go to the Turbo Racing 1:76 RC Car Official Group on Facebook and look up Julien Lallemand's post on 11 March 2024. He is running events in San Francisco on Saturday afternoons 2-6pm.

The 'gyro' versions would get spanked by the racing models on racing circuits. Laptimes wouldn't even be comparable. The Minis are short wheelbase and full throttle, but the other models can certainly provide some great racing with much higher speeds.

@@RypienGT That’s the point, the drift versions behave much more like real cars would, and the racing versions have unrealistic levels of scale grip and acceleration. Faster isn’t better, if you want scale realistic rc racing.

I don't agree that the drift versions drive more realistically.

This track was built by one of the local Mini-Z racers which he brought to the track facility.

This setup is 6x10 50cm tiles, or 300cm x 500cm or 3m x 5m = 9.84 ft. x 16.40 ft

Thanks! I used whatever clips I had to cut and reposition to time it to the music as best I could.

The really cool thing is these tiny RC cars have proportional steering so at a fixed speed, turning can be controlled to one's liking.

Everything about this car is in the video description. I used most of the allowed optional parts. I think the T plate is a Kyosho carbon medium flex. The setup for this car is still the same. The track at this facility changes about once every month.

Have you checked your local hobby stores first? If not, search for Turbo Racing 1/76 Scale RC Car. I'm sure Amazon has them, and some online hobby stores as well. Make sure they ship to Australia.

I think so. One or two of the guys I know most likely has the new C75 but I haven't seen it in person yet at this track though. It would probably be too quick and we'd have to dial down the throttle speed. It does look like a lot of fun at full speed!

The track owner decided to make it a shorter track for this session. He actually made his track in two halves for this kind of flexibility/variation possibility.

Thanks Ciesco! Julien advised me to re-tape the tires to the side walls to prevent it from peeling off as I was understeering on power bad. After re-taping the tires to the wheels, the car handles great. With the lipo 3500kv motor, tire degradation occurs more rapidly and a greater need for maintenance is a must, compared to lipo 2500kv and Lemo Stock. Hope you're doing well and getting podium finishes in Vegas!

@@olds97lss Try the truck for feline fun. My tabby is all about it when it is under paper. The trucks are fixed diff RWD and highly capable for their scale.
