I had Car Shield & only one time for a fuel pump but for engine, transmission seals, wheel bearings, they said they don't cover them, though they advertise they cover over 5000 parts!! I no longer have them BUT they were calling me everyday for 1-2 months to get me to pay!! 3-4000 dollars paid to them in premiums over 3-4 years!! NO MORE!!!

There is one thing that people might overlook is in the extended warranty contact , it clearly says that the warranty will not cover a failure due to a vehicle is not maintained properly . They think when they buy the warranty they won't have to do tune ups , replace wear & tear or top all fluids or timely oil changes .This is not how it works .

In my country those HOA's are only for apartmentbuildings. They own the building and you own the right to live in your apartment. They are also responsible for the maintenance of the building. For a single family home, this seems very strange. As far as i know, they don't maintain your house, but are only imposing rules on what you can or cannot do. Why would anyone that buys a house want to agree with that? Don't you buy a house to live and do what you want? Why let someone else decide what you must do? Or must do with your house? Where is the freedom in there? Land of... my [blank] All reasons i read here are bs. Pay your fees to the city and they can maintain the things the hoa is doing now. Prices are set by supply/demand, like any free market system. The reason you can get higher prices is not because of the hoa.
