Dam somewhere in time I lost all recognition that this was a NZ band. I always thought they were skidrow or something now I'm wondering why the hell they weren't alot bigger and more well known. Massively underrated then again NZ music couldn't break into the world market as easily back then

Huh, that was funny…. I was there in Melbourne when Stryper were coming to do the signing at a record shop in the city. It wasn’t really a riot as such but everyone under estimated the fan turnout to see them that afternoon. Thousands of people showed up and the city streets were full of fans. The record shop window broke mainly because the immense crowd that had turned up and fans were against the glass windows with nowhere to move. It was cool to say the least though.
