on my Diesel, with an odd bite point to where its very high. You can test it by stepping on the brake and finding that bite point by lifting the clutch there is a sweet spot where its in bite point, no gas no brake pedal or park brake and the car don't roll back and don't stall either (has something to do with Diesel engine having more lower end torque, if you do this on petrol it will most likely stall unless you are quickly adding gas). I guess you can say you are riding the clutch briefly. As doing it for too long will make your clutch life go low. And once you add gas then you can slowly release the clutch further until you can safely go without stalling.

But when I lower the clutch to slow down the gas pedal do I have to press it?

Hello, thanks for your video but I’m so confused. You mentioned that don’t press clutch pedal when turning but your left feet is always on the clutch pedal when you turn. Correct me if I’m wrong.

My test was at 8.20 and was 1st time I drove at this time. Am so ill with some conditions are flared up and no sleep. Before started I had about 1 hour so my instructor asked to practice about 30 mins which helped a lot to warmed up and claimed myself down. I want to tell you guys don't worry about the nerve when come the test you all will be fine. Just practice practice. Good luck everyone 👌🙏🙏🙂🙂

11:51 I don't agree with this one. The bus was moving and then she stopped. Yes an experienced driver could have taken the turn easy but imagine a huge bus coming your way and usually you don't want to take a risk. I think this was really harsh
@worlddriving5 күн бұрын
Either stop for the bus (in the central area out of the way) or turn but Maya stopped in front of the bus.

@worlddriving I’m confused. I never had to add gas on an upshift unless I mis-shifted or am intentionally shifting slowly or gently. Why is it being presented as a method to get going quickly? If you can complete the gear change before the revs drop to their final count, why would you want to add more revs? Is this method only for cars whose revs drop too quickly? Not criticizing, just genuinely curious if I’m missing something. Thanks!
@worlddriving5 күн бұрын
It's more for cars that drop revs quickly :)

The 'save the planet' by not using indicators if nobody is around nearly cost both my children to fail. They were so anxious about it l told them to use their indicators as if someone was there. Any examiner who 'fails' a test taker for over cautious use of indicators is an idiot.

Ah, i remember those days! Queues for fuel, petrol stations out of fuel, the stench of petrol and diesel fumes, people doing their shopping and spending 10 minutes at the till, or people buying or redeeming lottery tickets for even longer than the shoppers!. And who can forget the obligatory beggars having around? All i do now is plus my car in at home, and I've got a couple of hundred miles ready for the next day. I can charge at a very high rate, so i can add 150 miles in the time it takes to grab a coffee, but i very rarely need to use the Super Charger Network. My wallet and lungs are so much better for it!
