One does not just jack off. There's passion behind it. And every guitarist knows that. ^_^

In my top 5 players with Steve Harris, Geddy, Victor, and Myung. Maybe not he best any more, but what i grew up with and inspired me to play. Will give it to Stu, when i reached out in an email looking for tabs to Moonlight Sinatra, he emailed me back with quick access to his one drive so i could grab it. Thats class.

I think the 80’s hair adds to the music. It’s looks like the old wigs they had, but it’s really fitting for bluesgrass with its playfulness

The 1st time I saw him play was on Joe satriani’s first tour. When Stue did his solo, he did the Peanuts theme. Everyone went nuts. I’ve been a fan ever since. 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽

It's unfortunate that bassists have to pretent their bass is a different instrument in order to solo. Either they tap like this as if it's a piano OR they put crazy distortion and wah petals as if it's an electric guitar. It's a fucking bass. Play it like a bass.
@vinslungur9 ай бұрын
Instead of playing bass you instead play bass like it's a shitty piano. Taste doesn't come with technical skill unfortunatelly. (Please don't let this comment upset you. I think this sounds bad but maybe I have no taste neither 😅) check out Cliff Burton for actual BASS solos or any Metallica bassist. I love all you weirdos

I actually saw this video in 2017 when I started playing bass and all I could play was the chromatic scale, I don't know why but I thought that playing classical music on bass or guitar was the coolest thing ever so the Moonlight Sonata intro was awesome to me, now 7 years later I can actually play that part of the solo, it's been a fun journey so far 😏

The solo absolutely just turns into the King of the Hill intro meets the South Park intro song at one point, but it's still beautiful.
