Always wanted to see a build of this Hasegawa Levin from the time I realized they made one. Again, a car I saw regularly in the late 1990s when they surfaced as foreign used cars in Barbados. The Trueno (or Corolla coupe as it was called here) with the pop up lights was much more common, so I appreciated the uniqueness of the Levin when it first arrived. Very few of them left now - the boy racers made a mess of them.

車は美しいです!ご尽力に感謝いたします。 (I hope Google Translate got it all correct 😁)
It was amazing the level of technology Suzuki packed into this little car. There was one of these in Barbados to this spec that was used as a rally car. My aunt had the more civilized five door automatic version for several years and it served her well.
More memories! The first Tamiya kit I ever built when I was eleven years old. The decals were very challenging on this one but it was quite well detailed. It was also motorized.
I just love model kits of cars which were everyday cars to me. I had a Testors/Fujimi export model (Samurai) canvas top version of this kit and it was a joy to build. There are very few unmodified completely stock Samurais around now in Barbados where I live, and I wasn't aware there was a variant with a turbocharged engine as depicted in this kit, unless that was a JDM only car.
