You must be dense! No,no on cleaning coins? My collection- I just like looking at a coin you cannot hardly see what it is. This is a hobby. Get real. Lose value? Not likely. It is what it is!!! Clean it and like it. If you are in this to make money you are in the wrong hobby.

I half heartedly started a set of Morgan Dollars fully realizing I would never complete it. However, I obtained some important CC's and Morgans in various MS and PL conditions, including a DMPL. I stopped when the going got tough and actually sold off some of my set. I still have some nice examples of Morgan Dollars I have kept plus tubes of them in average VG-AU condition.

I know nothing about any of these coins, but I was looking up Shutterly on a WWTBAM historical bingewatch. I'm happy to see he's pursued his passions and the 500k probably helped him a lot to be able to do that.
