So the 2nd tray goes on top of the first right? I read where some compost or such should be added to get the microbes going or to innoculate it. When you want to harvest castings how do you go about it?

Yes, as long as there is pollen still on the male flower you can use it multiple times! Great question😊🙌🏼

Found them in my garden yesterday, i scooped them out and they just came right back. Soap water doesn't work and it's taking over my cabbages and pumpkin plants , so frustrating

This is an actual sign of healthy soil high in microbes. I don’t think it will kill your plants, so don’t worry too much but just make sure that when it’s all said and done, you wash everything before you eat.

@homefarmideas I'm a first time gardener so I was worried when I saw it on my plants. I removed them after it got dried and removed all the leaves it was on. I'm left with a different problem now, I think they call them flee bugs

These orange insects are not Ladybugs. A Google search explains that these are called Asian Lady Beetles, an invasive species. Ladybugs have a red exoskeleton with 11 spots, while an Asian Lady Beetle has an orange and yellow exoskeleton with approximately 19 spots.

The pacing of the bong bubbling was literally nauseating. Mega thumbs down. Tell whoever that was with the choking "larvadoo" at 7:58 to stay TF away while you're making videos, that was horrible.

That’s funny! That is actually a Bell Seifen. They are used in my grow beds to drain the water and it does sound like a bong, but it’s not🙌🏼

Marmaduke!!!! Larva Dew I like it. I have black aphids on my burning bush and (I looked it up but forgot the name already 😅) these bright green with black stripe fuzzy caterpillars eating my synonymous’!!!! I knew about the lady bugs but unsure we have a place around here to purchase and might have to do online.)

How much smaller can you miniaturize this and still have it be functional? I want to incorporate a bell siphon into a hobo coin design using microfludics. Have you tried going down to that scale?

I have made it about as small as a silver dollar and about as tall as a large marshmallow. More precisely about an 1” tall and about 1” wide. I am not familiar with hobo coin design. I will have to look that up.

This is great. I have been going through a 6 pack of beer every week filling my "Slug Saloons" made from old cottage cheese and yogurt containers. I've killed more than 380 slugs so far in the past 2 months (I'm in Oregon) This idea will allow me to drink more of the beer and still repel the slugs. Thanks Brotha'

Have you ever tried to grow Sun-chokes in your crooked pot? I bet they’d grow great! And you might just get a whole container of sun-chokes! That would make a Great Video!

It’s mint- and cuttings root really easy -So couldn’t you just poke cuttings into the soil above and use that wasted acreage to grow all the way up the strip! That’d make a great video!

I love fish tanks and I experiment with mine. I put bell pepper seeds and they are growing underwater. Not sure if ok or will grow but here it goes.

I have a very sick chicken who is egg bound and sick and so much, that she can’t even get up onto the roost and I’m afraid that she won’t survive the night. If she survives the night do you have any suggestions on how to help her? 🧐 Edit: if are reading this, just know that she passed on overnight like how I was saying unfortunately and I don’t need help anymore unless I run into the same problem later on.
