do you have a video showing you modifying the orange gun?

Aspie! 1992 idi. Crank no start. Bought it a couple months ago. Worked great for a while. The last few times I ran her I had some real hard starts. This pass weekend I tried to fire her up. Nothing. Crank. No start. I haven’t anytime to mess with her. I did notice when I hit my schrader valve on the filter housing nothing comes out. Not even air. Wanted to see if you can point me in The right direction or have any tips for me. Thanks.

First off, i wanted to thank you for all the info you've put out on IDI's. Its really hard to find anything on these old trucks. Secondly, i have a question for you if you have the time. Ive recently bought a 91 f250 with the 7.3 N/A non-turbo. Its been an electrical mess. Its whats led me to your channel. My voltage regulator went out and fried quite a bit of the wiring. Im having a helluva time finding any info on how to electrical work on these trucks. Could you possibly recommend some literature or a channel on here that might be a le to help someone who isnt the most savvy in the electrical realm? Any info would be much appreciated. If not, no worries and keep on keeping on! I appreciate all the info you e already put out there!!

Anyone know why im getting 16v on my batteries when at 1700 or so rpm after doing this swap?

So if I can't get the engine to turn over by hand (isn't currently running, parts truck), how should I try and get at the torque converter bolts? Do I have to pull the head off to free up the pistons? I should have mentioned, I am getting about 90° of rotation out of the crank shaft, but then it stops.

I’ve been having a intermittent power loss on my 97 12 valve . I’m gonna pull that screen and hope it’s clogged . I have a new lift pump , good filter , no leaks I can find anywhere

Does this modification increase the velocity of the bb projectile ?

Black and grey tanks join at outlet on almost every rv and camper. They do that so you dont need multiple (on some units upto 4) sewer hoses to connect drains to drain or dump station. They is nothing wrong with them connecting at the outlets. You can also use it to transfer from grey to black tank if grey fills bedire black does with the way its currently plumbed You can also add water while dumping through the black tank flush line.

Man I wish u was close to me I bought a headache of a 91 7.3 ran decent when I got it changed fuel filter now it must have air in the line can't get it to start it's a wiring nightmare and all I want to do is drop my damn truck LOL not a diesel mechanic and I don't know one been sitting all summer long haven't got to use it

I bought a 91 250 for 500$ and the engine has the milky oil and signs of coolant and oil mixing but i plan to tear into it and rebuild cause it spins over nicely and seems fixable compared to the others i saw in the same price range. Engine is a 7.3 idi.

Could you do the same without cutting the wires by jumping the terminals in that plug?

Can this be implemented on Umarex CP99 ?

Hey Aspie, I need the wiring diagram for a indirect injection 1993 7.3 Ford Truck I need to wire the shutoff solenoid, wait to start etc.

I pulled the plastic fender liner out and than took a pair of tin snips and cut out a portion about the size of my hand. That made the job a breeze.

What is the Tuque for fuel injectors & Glow plugs. Mine still leak fuel in those areas!

I have an alcoholic son. Hes 31 years old and is talking about getting license to drive ( never had them) and a motorcyle. I wish they made a small factory car like this that topped out at 35 mph. Make it legal for suburbs only like a golf cart. I mean he has gotten better about the booze but a slow ass car that just let him get to work and back is better than a fast motorcyle in my opinion. Also good as a second vehicle for groceries etc. I live 6 miles from work ( flay land in town ). Speed limit is 35 tops so if I can get to 35 at a decent rate I would make it a daily driver.

If it’s 15°F out, don’t rev your engine unless it has had the chance to warm the oil up a little bit

I found cheap idi . Three of them and I did not even drive one yet. 2000 a pop . They ran nice. ? They start right up. West coat hood spot to grab some up. Lol 😮

Im restoring my '96, 7.3 powerstroke pickup. Owned it since 2004. Lots of upgrades while fixing it. Shootin for 500hp. Big project. Im no auto body guy/ mechanic. I build stonewalls and plant trees. I know that truck tho. Im making my own panels for it. My adopted huskey that died back 5 yrs ago, trashed my interior panels the 1st wk I got him. Damn separation anxiety. Hey man, stumbled onto this looking up how to replace the electric ignition switch thats at the bottom of the column...had what i thought was a ignition lock cylinder switch problem but that wasnt it so ive been watching a lot of videos showing me the dissection of the steering column but as a last resort i was thinking of just wiring in a switch just like yours...great video
