I'm really on this fence on this series. It's got great art, but maybe it could have been colored, but as B/W is the original it's quite nice to keep it that way. But then it's ultimately all weird and goofy (something that also put me off on the Japanese G1 sequels). I mean Transformers was for children, but this is for CHILDREN.

The thing I did not like about the TFC Poseidon was it's colors and lack of accents. This new color scheme also lacks paint but looks amazing. I think I might get this but it all depends on the price.

I have gotten all issues of each of the 4 comic series within the Energon Universe from Forbidden Planet. They have all the differnet covers as well and I get multiples of the Transformers and Void Rivals issues each month as the covers are so good, but just going with singles of the GI Joe stuff. The series overall is superb.

I feel for Kapow. I guess they have been saddled with overstock due to Hasbro's demands. This means they have to do sales to move the stock. Scorponok was £116 on Amazon (i was new to collecting then so bought from mainstream stores). Now they want £200+ for figures that seem less special. Kapow are correct. Hasbro owe a lot to independent stores, they should support them.

In my neck of the woods transformers figures are always selling out at Target, while at Walmart they can’t sell anything. Target actually stocks new figures across the entire year, while Walmart stocks one, maybe two, waves a year. Walmart used to be the best at stocking new releases, but now they’re complaining about how nobody is buying their figures when they never stock new ones.

Last few years that is how I buy lot of my toys is by being more picky. Tidalwave is how he should look as Titan compared to his original toy. People are going to buy what they want to buy. And buying toys is gamble at times. You buy now and it goes down, or buy later and pay more. There is no guarentee that retailers are going to find Tidalwave for less.
