Thank you so much. I have a question if I’m putting a square lace trim on the bottom of shorts do i sew the lace on first then sew side seams to catch the raw edge or do I sew after side seams folding under in the sewn seam?

Thank you for this clear explanation. I've just decided that the next jacket I sew will have welt pockets and bound buttonholes. Your simple step by step instructions are some of the best I've seen, and I've been looking at a lot of videos in this last week on the topic.

I wish it showed what this actually looks like when finished! The instructions on how to do it are very clear and concise but it’s hard to know if this is the right alteration for my project without seeing what the end result of the gusset is.

This is excellent; however I need clarification on one thing. Can you or someone answer? When doing the second row of stitching on the welt strip, is it stitched equal distance from the raw edge as the folded edge? I cannot tell if it should be from the raw edge or equal from the first stitched edge? Maybe I'm splitting hairs! I love, love the video. It is absolutely the best there is about bound buttonholes.

I wish there were more videos on embellishing cup chain with seed beads. I bought this kit over 15 years ago from Beadalon. I recognize the diagram shown in the video. My computer no longer reads the software on the dvd that came with it. The bracelet turned out very well. I'm pretty sure that the cup chain was 4mm.

We make these by the hundreds for a local food ministry. I find having at least one large size bag is helpful for carrying paper towels, bathroom tissue etc. The small t-shirts make great bags for canned items. A variety of sizes is so helpful in managing the weight-size issue with groceries.

Hmm, I ran into a problem with the back of the buttonhole. How do you neaten it so when the garment falls open all the construction is concealed? With mine the facing covered it nicely but of course that meant you couldn't push the button through! What have I missed in my technique? Thanks in anticipation of your solution.

Good explanation of a technique that while simple, offers a lot of scope for creativity! Ann can you discuss how you approached the strip piecing in the quilt with the curved piecing?

This was a wonderfully clear and informative exploration of design principles and choices, well done! I would *very* much like to see this expanded into an exploration/discussion/documentation of the design process for a few different improv quilts! Thanks Anne this was really helpful.
