How much is removal alone? And do they have composite veneers that allow to choose the desired shade or only for porcelain? Last qns is did u have/found any decay when you removed your composites?

Composite Veneer removal is $350 per tooth. I guess the shade range is more limited for composite. Found 2 small decays underneath!

Nicole, you mentioned that composite veneer is not healthy for your oral hygiene, but what about porcelain veneer? Would there be any seepage?

Composite veneers are not technically unhealthy if it’s done by a clinic with a doctor to properly assess your oral condition before doing it (both porcelain and ceramic veneers). It’s important to have a dentist do it professionally rather than an unlicensed beautician :)

Do crooked teeth need to be straightened with braces first before doing veneers? Do you need to wear retainers after doing veneers?

Depending on how crooked and your teeth structure, the doctor will advise you accordingly. No need to wear retainers after doing veneers but it’s recommended to wear a night guard to protect the veneers from chipping. (in case of night time grinding) ☺️
