Out of all the covers that I've seen, this one is absolutely the best on this platform! Just imagine a sailor hearing this in the ocean and only just one mermaid singing while the other pretty fair maids are basically ready to feast on the poor fellow like how a Velociraptor pack catches their prey by the sides. Take that idea when this song stops! The sailor would never know the other mermaids were there!

man, this would sound amazing with the acoustics of the local church hall in my town (I'm not religious at all lol, but the architecture and the acoustics of the cathedrals where I live is mint, it adds a deep and rich reverb and smooths out any slight roughness. I know an awful lot of 'choir' who don't have a religious bone in their body but just love how good music sounds in a classic cathedral :D ) - if you ever have a chance to record in one of those small churches designed to have perfect acoustics, this track is gold, your lyrics and composition are beautiful. Do you have a soundcloud or other such where I can listen to more of your work?

@@AcapellaOnion I've found good luck with the 'less popular ones'- so long as i'm singing something uplifting and positive, they tolerate a bit of weirdness (me and my tendancy to often dress as if I am some sort of cowboy pirate gentry for no apparent reason other than that life's too short to wear boring clothes, in my case :p ) for the sake of 'well, it's better than another depressing wednesday where no-one's showed up, and even if she's not religious, people wandering past stop in for a listen and that beats silence?'
