Hardcore is 50% higher damage, 10% higher overall game speed and jump height than Classic mode and it's the default mode for the SP ladder. Turbo mode is like Hardcore mode, but with 20% higher jumps than classic mode and with 40% faster movement. BTW: Jump Match and Jump Boots always set the jump height to 300% of the Classic mode jump height. Air control is not affected by the Classic/Hardcore/Turbo choice. Later UT games always use 110% game speed on the PC and 100% on the consoles. Their air control and movement cannot be compared to UT as the map/player scale is entirely different. UT3 even allows custom air control for individual jump pads, usually to prevent players from landing elsewhere than what the mapper had in mind.

@@Vscojen First of all, thank you for your responce. I am really sorry, but I still don't get it. On "Godlike" the bot's pistol damage is multiplied by 2.5x while yours stay normal. Your pistol shots deal 10 damage to bots, and you need 10 shots for a kill, while bot's pistol shots deal 25 damage and finish you off in 4 hits. That is why you actually never pistol duel vs bots on "godlike" and search for the gun as fast as you can. At least that is how it worked back in the days when I was young and we were playing for hours in this game with my friends. Now for your argument "Hardcore is 50% more damage". Allright then, but still, it is only 20 damage and you will need 5 straight hits to kill a bot. Moreover, bot's then will deal 50(!) damage to you effectively finishing you off with just two hits. Considering their insane accuracy you would be dead even before you can realise there is an enemy nearby. But that is not the case obviously, as we can see in the video. So there is something else about this that I am missing: either there was some later rebalancing or there is something else I don't know. We were just casual players after all, even if we played with "godlike" bots.

I assume in the ini files or console - since there are changes one can do in them that are not in the menu but.. be very very careful or you might 1fk your computer (happened) , get kicked for what considered cheat online , but mainly one can fintune x and y values for mouse at 2 places - increase or decrase mouse hz ( killed my 20 year motherboard but only after years of use ) - the default for usbmouse to communicate with this game is 125 hz - so i went along sometime deacreased it to 75 or upped it 200 and then that killed it ( i think) 155hz just becuae now the feeling is "perfect" one other thing is texture sharpness or gamespeed that only between 0.5-2.0 - there you can set it to 1.02 meaning 2 % faster or 0.982345 if this suit you better - I played a lot of classic gamestyle but the gamespeed is so much slower - so to come to ut99 speed i set it to 1.1111111 - . At the end since im an old fps er i just played at 1.0755 sicne i felt comfortble with this in adept -this is about 3.5 slower than ut99 online but didnt matter , i become better
